Community Foundation of Northern Rosebud County

Community Foundation of Northern Rosebud County The Community Foundation of Northern Rosebud County originally began as the F.A.I.R. (Forsyth, Angela, Ingomar, and Rosebud) Community
Foundation.

The mission of the Community Foundation of Northern Rosebud County (CFNRC) is to sustain and improve the quality of life in the communities of Angela, Rosebud, Ingomar and Forsyth, Montana. A recent update to the name and logo was undertaken in an effort to better describe what and who the Community Foundation works for. CFNRC is a non-profit permanent endowment. The foundation acts as a catalyst

in identifying problems and sharing solutions between the communities using strategic grant making. Ways to give:
Send a contribution during the membership drive
Create a matching gift challenge. Give livestock, crops or proceeds from a few acres, or transfer real estate to the foundation.

This Throwback Thursday we look back on recent projects at the Forsyth Municipal Pool. The earnings from CFNRC’s Forsyth Aquatic & Recreational Fund are used to help fund projects such as this.
The cold plunge tub and steam sauna have been very welcome additions to the pool and community. Jason Forberg, pool manager, has noticed an increase in memberships and pool usage since these have been installed.
Sustainable community driven projects such as these build the future… right here!

2025 ended in a big way for CFNRC - a new endowment fund was established!!
The Rosebud County Library Fund was created in memorial of JR "Toppy" & Mariellen Lee and A.G. "Al" & Sharon Lee. The Lee Family has always been a driving force behind our local county library. With the establishment of this fund, the earnings can be used for projects that meet the library and patrons future needs.
Endowment funds are a commit to building the future...right here!
