A Toast to Tech: A Night of Jazz brought together community partners for an evening of connection, conversation, and music, all in support of bridging the digital divide in Atlanta. 🎶💻

The highlight of the night came when Compudopt was honored with a 2024–2025 Community Champion Difference Maker Award from DeKalb County School District. This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, partners, and volunteers who work every day to ensure technology access for all.

Thank you to the DeKalb County School District, Clayton County Office of Digital Equity, and the other community leaders, educators, and advocates who joined us for this special event.

Thanks to the collaboration between AT&T, Compudopt, and AMB Sports + Entertainment, 500 laptops were distributed to Atlanta students and families just in time for the new school year!

Atlanta City Councilmember, Byron Amos, District 3, shared:
"These laptops will help close the digital divide in our neighborhoods and will provide residents with the digital tools needed for online learning, developing new job skills and accessing community resources. Together, we are enhancing the quality of life for families and building bright futures.”

AT&T and Compudopt, in collaboration with AMB Sports + Entertainment, provided 500 refurbished laptops and backpacks stuffed with school supplies today to distribute to students and families on Atlanta’s Westside.

The proof is in the impact! Last year, a high school graduate named Joe graduated the same day he was set to receive his new laptop at a Compudopt computer distribution. He and his family were so excited, they headed there immediately after he received his diploma!
