Dinovember is in full swing at the Forest Grove Library. We have SO MANY dionsaurs and they are all over the library! 🦖🦕

💥There is a dionsaur scavenger hunt - solve the riddle, get a sticker!
💥Dionsaurs filling the display case - see if you can guess just how many!
💥A dinosaur on the bookdrop - say hi when you return all the dionsaur books you check out!

More than 8,000 used books and other media go on sale in the library's Rogers Room, with a members-only preview Wednesday, Oct. 21, and a $10 bag day Saturday.

It's a good day to be moving rocks...said no one ever. Huge thanks, to Jordan Miller and Mike Smith, with the Library Foundation, for planting the new trees behind the library.

We look forward to seeing all of you at our Banned Books Week Silent Read-In tomorrow (Saturday, October 10) from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm! Bring your favorite banned or challenged book - or choose one of the titles we'll have on display - and meet in the fireplace area for this community-wide show of support for libraries and the freedom to read

We'll have a few announcements at the beginning of the event, but otherwise you're welcome to grab a treat and hang out for some quiet reading time and a chance to connect with fellow champions of intellectual freedom.

Everyone who attends will also receive a QR code to download a free audiobook copy of "Banned Together" or "How to Defend Books and Why" courtesy Libro.fm.
