American Legion Auxiliary Forest Grove Unit 2 We are a patriotic service organization who advocate for, help, and honor United States military, veterans, their families, youth, and the community.

We also support The American Legion and their mission. We meet the first Saturday of each month at the Legion Hall in Forest Grove at 10 a.m.

Please come see us at Safeway in Forest Grove. We are handing out poppies, coloring books and colors for kids, painted rocks and bookmarks with the poppy poem. We are there until 4 pm today and 10-4 tomorrow! We have several people who were happy to get a flag and some rocks!

I cannot say how much fun we had going to the airport to welcome Irene home from her all female honor flight. Unfortunately her flight was delayed 1.5 hours so what do 3 gals who’ve been friends for years do? Why we have fun of course! We laughed so hard my stomach muscles hurt. We had volunteers, airport staff and TSA agents laughing and wanting to join us. We were so proud to welcome Irene home and she was just glowing!
