We had an awesome day at the Oldcastle facility in Charlotte. SCMA Blockfest was held with over 40 attendees at the event. Attendees ranged from the AEC community, UNCC students, SCMA producer members, and suppliers.

Attendees were given a plant tour by Oldcastle, a hands-on demonstration by McGee Brothers, a Mule demonstration by Oldcastle, and a Beauty of Block presentation by Danielle Mokris, followed by a social event at Hickory Tavern. It was a great day for the industry to promote masonry.

We would like to recognize Pat Porter, Patrick Jones, Byard Stevens, Mike Teague, Josh Reid, Josh Simpson, Brandon Roberts, Ryan Innes, and many other Oldcastle teammates for putting on a great event.
We would also like to thank Mike Finch with McGee Brothers, as well as James Cain with the SCMA and Danielle Mokris with the CMU Checkoff, for their wonderful participation!
