They turned out absolutely amazing, and I am so grateful for their kindness, time, and support of our community pantry. Donations like this help us look more welcoming, professional, and easy to recognize for our neighbors who use or support the pantry. 🥹

BIG NEWS! 💚🎉
We are so excited to officially announce that Take It or Leave It, Inc. is now a recognized 501(c) nonprofit!

What started as a simple idea to help neighbors give what they can and take what they need has grown into something so much bigger than we ever imagined. This pantry has been built with love, community support, donations, shares, kind words, and people showing up for one another.
With this exciting step, we also wanted to officially introduce the board members helping guide Take It or Leave It, Inc. as we continue to grow:

Queenß Reed our President & Founder
B started Take It or Leave It, In. with the hope of creating a judgment-free, barrier-free space where neighbors could access basic needs with dignity. She will continue to oversee that our purpose is being fulfilled.

Mya Perez our Secretary
Mya keeps things organized behind the scenes and supports the heart of the pantry’s mission: community helping community.

Dr.Taylor Schregardus our Treasurer
Taylor will oversee the financial side of the pantry so donations and resources can be handled responsibly as we continue moving forward.

Becoming a 501(c) nonprofit is such a huge milestone for us, but this pantry would not be what it is without every single person who has donated, shared a post, stopped by, spread the word, or supported us in any way. 🥹

We are beyond grateful, incredibly excited, and so ready for what comes next. 💚

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who reached out and gave us so many incredible leads. We are so excited to share that Signarama is going to be donating to our cause and keeping us supported, with beautiful new signs. I can't express how thankful and excited we are!!

ISO someone local who can make 2 weatherproof signs for our community pantry. 😁

They would need to be the same size as our current signage, which I believe is 24x18, and durable enough to stay outside in all weather. ❄️ 🌧 🌞

Please message me with pricing and examples if you make outdoor signs. Thank you! 😉

Also, we are looking to get a new structure since our pantry door has a hard time holding up to weather and daily use (Lots of tape has been involved😅).

***** EDITED TO ADD- We found a lawnmower!🙌🙌 Soooooo thankful to the donor who wants to remain anonymous for getting us a new lawnmower! 😭🙏💚******************************************

‼️We REALLY need the community’s help!
We’ve gone through a few lawnmowers now over the past year. Were there again- the one we had is broken, and not worth fixing (cost). We are in need of a self propel push mower.

I’ve taken the risk before on marketplace with a lawnmower only to get it after saying it works, and it broke down quickly.

Asking by word of mouth from person the community- does anyone have a lawnmower that works that you’d be willing to donate or sell to ARYA?
