A Message to Our Community
The King Run is a registered non-profit organization with Charitable Organization status. Our mission has always been to support the King Veterans Home and local Veterans. While we host an annual motorcycle ride, we are not a motorcycle club—our organization is open to everyone who supports our mission, whether you ride a bike, drive a car or truck, or simply want to help.
This organization has been built through the generosity of many donors, contributors, and partner organizations, and we are deeply grateful for every person who has supported us. The King Run was recreated with the originator’s vision in mind, and we remain committed to carrying that vision forward.
In recent months, donors, contributors, and officials brought concerns regarding certain responsibilities and expectations to the attention of the President. These concerns were shared with the Board. While efforts were made to address them, continued challenges and disruptions made it difficult to maintain alignment with our non-profit mission and governance. As a result, a resignation from the Board was submitted and accepted.
We want to emphasize that The King Run deeply respects the time, effort, and dedication contributed by all who have supported the organization over the years. At the same time, we have a responsibility to operate in a consistent, lawful, and mission-aligned manner.
We want to reassure everyone that The King Run remains strong, united, and committed to our mission. We will continue to focus on supporting Veterans, strengthening our communities, and honoring those who served. We believe the best is still ahead.
For questions or concerns about membership, including incomplete or inaccurate information, contact the Board of Directors through official channels of the Facebook messenger site. Membership is granted only after completing the application process and receiving formal acceptance under the organization’s bylaws. Payment of dues alone does not confer membership. Those who have submitted dues but not completed the application should contact the organization to submit paperwork or verify membership status.
To clarify: no one has recently been removed or blocked from our site. When a Board member resigns, they are relieved of leadership responsibilities and no longer manage the page or site.
The King Run will take place this year, as it has in the past. Details will be announced soon.
For questions about our organization, bylaws, or mission, please contact us through our official page.
Thank you for your continued support, trust, and dedication to The King Run. We look forward to moving forward together.
