New Heights Therapeutic Riding Center 501(c)3 nonprofit organization helping those with physical, cognitive, and mental challenges experience healing through the power of the horse.

Adaptive Therapy / Hippotherapy / Veterans & First Responder Programs New Heights Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1998. We are a the only PATH premier therapeutic equestrian center in the state of Louisiana. We are dedicated to positively impacting lives through our life changing equine therapy. We help people who have physical, cognitive, and emotional dif

ficulties reach their full potential. We serve a wide variety of groups and individuals in our community and beyond. Our facility is located on eight beautiful acres adjacent to Summergrove Polo Farms in Folsom, Louisiana. We also have access to 22 acres of wooded riding trails across from our property for our riders to enjoy. We have a fully handicap accessible facility with a covered arena and a 16 stall barn. Our arena is equipped with a wheelchair accessible ramp and a lift, which can hold up to 1,200 pounds to assist wheelchair bound clients to mount the horse. We operate with the help of our community, volunteers, and generous donors who support our mission every day. We invite you to schedule a tour our facility and get involved! Today we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Tom and Maddie! 🐴❤️

These two are the kind of volunteers every organization dreams of having. They are always here, always willing to help, and always ready to jump in wherever they are needed.

Whether it’s helping with the horses, assisting with lessons, lending a hand behind the scenes, or simply seeing something that needs to be done and doing it—Tom and Maddie are there.

They don’t wait to be asked. They just show up and serve. And that kind of dependability means more than they probably realize.
