This workshop is designed for officials, leaders, and coaches who want to move beyond refereeing, aimed at elevating the quality, consistency, and professionalism of judo competition. Participants will gain a clear practical understanding of what effective mat supervision and referee support look like in real time - not just in theory. The program focuses on how to lead on the mat: when to intervene, how to support referees under pressure, how to communicate decisively and respectfully, and how to ensure fairness while maintaining trust with coaches and athletes.

NEW YORK FINISHES THE YEAR ON TOP!
The Empire State = The Judo State.

What a YEAR for New York Judo! From national dominance to international podiums, our athletes proved once again that New York is a powerhouse in American judo—and we’re only getting stronger.

🇺🇸 Nationally, New York continues to be one of the most competitive and successful states in the entire country, with multiple athletes ranked Top 3 in the United States across youth, cadet, and junior divisions. Generation after generation, our clubs are producing champions.

Internationally, New Yorkers made serious noise on the world stage:

🥇 Alex Semenenko – 1st Place, Pan American Open (Senior Division)
A massive win that puts New York firmly on the international senior map.

Across the younger divisions, New York lit up the Infantile & Junior Pan American Championships with medal after medal:

🥇 Aleksei Kondratev – U13 / 31kg – 1st Place
🥈 David Michaelov – U13 / 28kg – 2nd Place
🥉 Maxim Bokun – U13 / 38kg – 3rd Place
🥉 Theodore Uruymagov – U15 / -64kg – 3rd Place

A huge shoutout to the clubs building this new wave of champions:
