Our hearts are absolutely full this week, after last weekend’s Homecoming celebration for the 50th Anniversary of the Center for Spirituality! 🕊️✨

A massive thank you to everyone who attended and made this milestone gathering so incredibly special. We were honored to welcome so many friends, family, and furry companions to mark 800 years of St. Francis’s legacy of peace, love for creation, and joy in community.

It was truly a perfect autumn day filled with warmth and fellowship. We shared in a beautiful outdoor Mass, finding inspiration and peace in the surrounding beauty of nature.

The energy was kept high all afternoon by wonderful live music — thank you to the band for the perfect soundtrack to our celebration! 🪕🎻 It was heartwarming to see everyone enjoying the music, visiting with one another, and participating in the various activities.

And, of course, a major highlight was the annual Pet Blessing. We loved meeting all your wonderful companions, from energetic pups to feline friends, as they received their special blessing in honor of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. 🐾

We are deeply grateful for the love, support, and fellowship our community has shown throughout this 800th-anniversary year. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect Homecoming.

Happy Feast Day of Saint Francis of Assisi! 🌿🕊️

His 800-year-old call to be faithful stewards of the Earth and instruments of peace continues to guide our mission every single day.

From summer camps and peaceful woodland walks to quiet prayers and lifelong friendships made along these trails—50 years of cherished memories have brought us to this exact moment.

Tomorrow, October 4th, we gather to celebrate where it all began. The friars and staff are ready, the setup is underway, and all that’s missing is you. Mass starts at 10 a.m. by the Lake House. Events until 4 p.m...

Whether you’re returning after decades or were just here last week, the doors are open and the welcome is warm.

🌿 We’re Hiring: Associate Director at Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality! 🌿

Do you have a heart for retreat ministry, spiritual formation, and Franciscan hospitality? We’re looking for a warm, creative leader to help shape our programs, connect with youth and adult retreatants, and support our sacred mission.

What you’ll do:

• Plan & facilitate transformative retreats for teens and adults

• Collaborate on center marketing, grant writing, and community events (like MountFest!)

• Work alongside friars, presenters, and volunteers on our beautiful campus

If you're a practicing Catholic with a passion for community, nature, and spiritual growth, this full-time role might be your next calling!

Our kitchen & housekeeping staffs support the daily needs of retreats, programs, and events held at the Center. Shifts vary depending on retreat schedules, with a steady, team-focused atmosphere.

Festivals, Traditions & Community

Under the watchful eye of St. Francis, our grounds have welcomed families, friends, and neighbors for generations of unforgettable gatherings.

Now, it’s time to celebrate 50 years of hospitality with one big homecoming! Reconnect with the friars, meet old friends, and enjoy a warm day back at the Mount. 🎈

Join us for 10:00 a.m. Mass on the Grass this Sunday, October 4, 2026, which will take place BY the Lake at the Mount. Join us for a beautiful outdoor Franciscan liturgy amidst God’s creation. (Please bring your lawn chairs or bag chairs!)

Another fun day at Mount Saint Francis! We were happy to welcome the Mercy sophomores to our Team Building Course today and on September 16th.

A big THANK YOU to Mercy for spending these two days with us. We loved watching the students work together, encourage one another, while having fun.
