Today we honor Juneteenth and the generations of Black Americans whose resilience, resistance, and contributions continue to shape our communities.

Freedom is not just something we celebrate in the past. It is something we continue working toward in the present.

Today is a day to reflect, learn, celebrate, and recognize that the work of building more equitable communities is ongoing.

The challenge isn't motivation. The challenge is trying to do it alone while managing everything else life is asking of you.

That's why body doubling can be so powerful.

The hard part is:
Making the phone call when you're exhausted.
Filling out the paperwork when you're overwhelmed.
Following up when you've already been told "no."

One thing we've learned is that knowing what to do and being able to do it are not always the same thing.
