A cancer diagnosis can result in a loss of income and employment. When help is needed McLeod cancer patients can request assistance from the HOPE (Helping Oncology Patients Everyday) Fund.

During his cancer journey, Calvin Smith was grateful for the assistance he received from the HOPE Fund to cover a couple of his bills when he was no longer able to work. Jaleesa Rowell, a McLeod Oncology Social Worker, was led to pursue this career and help patients like Calvin after experiencing her uncle's battle with cancer in 2020.
