Last night was another beautiful Rooms With Love F.I.L.L. night. ❤️

F.I.L.L.Faith. Impact. Love. Lift.

Last night we had the honor of serving a sweet momma and her 5 children — all under the age of 7. Walking into her home reminded us once again why we do what we do.

As we delivered beds, furniture, and household items to help fill her home, she kept expressing gratitude over and over. After seeing her space and realizing we would need to come back as we owed her more, Without hesitation she responded, “You owe me nothing.” She was just so grateful.

Then she shared part of her story… for multiple years she and her children experienced homelessness and lived in their car. But now — she has a home. And last night, together, we were able to help F.I.L.L. it with furniture, comfort, dignity, and love.

Those are the moments that stay with you. The moments that remind us this mission is about so much more than couches and beds. It is about connection, hope, restoration, and lifting families up during some of life’s hardest seasons.

And we could not do this without the incredible people who serve alongside us. A special thank you to our dynamic duo Shane and Melody who faithfully come with us week after week, sharing not only their time and strength, but also their hearts with the families we serve. Your compassion makes such a difference. ❤️

God continues to show up in every detail, and we are so thankful to witness these moments together.

Last night, Rooms With Love had the honor of blessing a mom and her two young boys through a referral from MEBS Counseling. 💙

Mom shared that her boys, ages 13 and 8, had both been asking for desks. We don’t always have desks sitting in our warehouse — waiting on a generous donor to assist with a larger space— but God always shows up in the details. This week, two desks were donated at just the right time. One generous donor even brought a desk to us earlier in the day so it would be ready for delivery.

And then there was the microwave cart… one we had pulled from our facility that perfectly matched the kitchen table and chairs this family had just received from her sister. HE is in the details. Every single one.

Rooms With Love is truly powered by love, and because of our amazing Roomies, that’s you- those walking along side of us, donating furniture, making financial donations, volunteering with us. Because of our Roomies lives are being changed every single day. Thank you for being part of the story. 🏡❤️

We are incredibly grateful to share that this past Sunday, Hopeful Lutheran Church in Florence recognized and supported Rooms With Love with a generous grant.

Because of their kindness and belief in our mission, more families transitioning out of homelessness, domestic violence, addiction recovery, and other difficult circumstances will walk into homes filled not only with furniture — but with dignity, comfort, and love.

Every table, bed, couch, and dresser becomes part of a fresh start for families rebuilding their lives. Partnerships like this remind us that when a community comes together, lives are truly transformed.

Thank you, Hopeful Lutheran Church, for helping us continue to serve our neighbors with compassion and hope.

Yesterday, Rooms With Love was honored to be awarded a $1,000 grant by a group of students from Mason Middle School through their work with Magnified Giving.

We are always humbled when the next generation reaches out wanting to learn about what we do and why we serve—and our answer is always yes. Investing time with students who are curious, compassionate, and eager to make a difference transforms us as well during these connections.

It was such a blessing to be surrounded by the schools, students, teachers, and staff at Magnified Giving who are pouring into the future in such a meaningful way.

And a special moment for me personally—I finally got to meet Roger Grein, the founder of Magnified Giving. Ever since we first connected with students through this program, I had hoped to meet the man behind it all. What a powerful example of faith, generosity, and dedication.

Grateful, inspired, and encouraged for what’s ahead. ❤️

A Wednesday night in Hebron with these awesome Roomies from Theta Chi Fraternity at Northern Kentucky University❤️

We had two pickups tonight—huge thank you to Camille & Troy and Dean & Jennifer. It was so good seeing you all again and being part of your generosity!

One of the things we love most about what we do is the opportunity to truly connect—meeting, praying with, and stepping into the lives of both those we pick up from and those we deliver to. It’s always more than just furniture.

After our pickups, we had the honor of delivering to a veteran who was referred to us through the Senior Resource Center of NKY. His excitement and gratitude said it all—moments like that remind us why we do what we do.

So thankful for nights like this and the people who make it all possible ❤️

Update on the bunk bed need❤️

After we shared the request for a set of bunk beds, this momma of 5 made the selfless decision to give up her bedroom so she can share a room with one of her daughters. Because of this change, we no longer need bunk beds—but we do need your help in a new way.

We are now on the hunt for 6 twin mattresses to help get this family set up with safe and comfortable places to sleep.

If you have a gently used mattress in good condition (no stains or damage) please let us know!

Rooms With Love is currently looking for a simple set of bunk beds to help furnish a small bedroom for a family in need. Due to limited space, we’re specifically hoping for a standard bunk bed setup—no built-in steps, storage, or extra features—just something simple and functional that will allow us to fit a set of bunk beds and another twin bed in a room.

If you have a set you’d be willing to donate or know someone who does, please reach out! Your generosity helps us create comfortable, dignified spaces for families starting fresh. If you want to step into the blessing even more and deliver it straight to its new home- just ask us how!!

Hope filled Homes
Monday night ❤️❤️

The Rooms With Love team, joined by five men from the VA shelter, came together to transform an empty house into a home for a single mom and her five children. Where there were once bare rooms, there are now beds—each one beautifully made , thanks to Melody and Shane!!!! and ready to bring rest and peace. Dressers, nightstands, lamps, and a fully furnished living room now fill the space with warmth and comfort. But what was created that night goes far beyond furniture.

It’s dignity.
It’s stability.
It’s hope.

For this family, home now feels like a safe place—a place where each child has their own bed, where memories will be made, and where a new chapter begins.

We are so grateful for the hands and hearts that made this transformation possible. This is what happens when a community comes together to love and serve others well.

And here’s the truth… when you step into this kind of work, it doesn’t just change their lives—it changes yours too.

We are so grateful for the opportunities we encounter when we get to step into lives and connect with hearts in this community ❤️

What started as a simple furniture donation from a neighbor turned into something so much bigger. Through conversation and connection, a new opportunity was born—and this week we are incredibly grateful for Prysmian North America generous financial support.

Because of this support, Rooms With Love can continue transforming houses into homes and walking alongside families right here in Northern Kentucky.

Last night, our Rooms With Love team of 5 was truly blessed to step into the lives of a young mom and her two little boys, who just celebrated their birthdays in March—turning 3 and 7. In just one month, they’ll be welcoming baby boy #3 💙

Thanks to a referral from the St. Vincent de Paul - Northern Kentucky St. Pius conference, we had the honor of transforming their house into a home—filling it with furniture, love, and hope.

One of the most special moments was watching the 7-year-old jump right in, helping arrange the kitchen chairs around the table so they could begin sharing meals together. He carefully placed a lamp on the end table in what was once an empty living room… turning it into a space filled with warmth.

This sweet momma was moved to tears—and honestly, so were we.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about furniture… it’s about dignity, hope, and new beginnings. ❤️
