5 of our dogs got the ultimate spaw day treatment today! 🫧 All of these senior dogs are 💖 ADOPTABLE 💖 & the puppy will be available soon! Read a little tidbit about each of them below:
🌷 Maddie ~ As sweet as a slice of leftover Derby pie!!! She came from a hoarding case and has recently had to undergo back-to-back surgeries, but she is now putting on weight and looking for her forever. She has had a rough life and can be fearful and flinchy, but despite the mistreatment in her past she is still so willing to trust and love. ❤️🩹 Maddie gets along well with other dogs and is very quiet and calm in her foster home. She loves to cuddle and enjoys sleeping underneath blankets. Despite her silvery face she still has plenty of life left and has been caught playing with toys and chasing butterflies outside just this week!
🍔🥢 Chopper ~ (AKA Whopper, Chop Chop, Chopsticks) The most pint sized out of the entire crew- Chopper is low maintenance and quiet as long as you’re within view at all times. When you’re out of sight he has the saddest old man howl you’ve ever heard! As long as someone is home he sleeps most of the day. He enjoys being near you on the couch but won’t be crawling in your lap for cuddles. He has a very unique salt & pepper coat with a texture that’s been compared to a Brillo pad. Chopper has a heart murmur and a collapsing trachea but is currently doing well. He would love a foster home while he searches for his permanent home. 🩶
🌚 Patty ~ You ever heard of a Binturong? Google it and then say we’re rong! Patty came to us from Texas emaciated and terrified. We tried to help her put some weight on and, well, we succeeded and then some! 🫣 This burnt loaf of bread is approximately 10-11 years old and is looking for a nice, quiet couch and a lap to rest her frosty face on. She’s shy at first but once she warms up to you she does a happy dance on her hind legs for you every morning. She’s very quiet and the perfect mix of present when you’re around and independent when you’re not around.
🍄🟫 Reed ~ This freckly fellow is the most lively of the bunch. He would do just fine in an average energy household and would love a yard or regular walks. He would even be a great travel companion! 💼 Reed has a heart murmur and his tongue sticks out all the time. He’s friendly with everyone and loves to get in your face for kisses. He gets along with other dogs and has a high sociability score. Reed is a very adaptable dog and is ready to fit in wherever he can!
🐞 Ladybug ~ Ah… girlhood. There’s nothing more feminine than diving into muddy ponds, rolling in p**p, and biting ankles. Ladybug is a 12 week old heeler mix looking for a best friend who will let her live out her tomboy dreams. Like a typical cattle dog she will be very loyal and attached to her person. She is currently displaying medium herding drive and will be looking for an adopter who is experienced with the breed and can offer a firm yet gentle hand due to her sensitive nature. Ladybug will be available once she’s completed all of her vetting, so stay tuned! 🐄
