These two tiny fluffballs are officially ready to start accepting applications! ❤️

Both puppies are sweet, adorable little babies who are just beginning to learn all the important puppy things. They are currently working on house training and building confidence as they grow.

Because of their extremely small size, we are looking for homes that understand how fragile tiny puppies can be. No large dogs please.

🌚 Adoptable Spotlight: Patty

Have you ever heard of a binturong? Google it, then try to tell us we’re wrong. 😅

Patty came to us from Texas emaciated, terrified, and unsure of the world. We worked hard to help her gain weight and feel safe again… and, well, we may have succeeded a little too well. 🫣

This sweet burnt loaf of bread is around 10–11 years old and looking for a quiet couch, a soft lap, and someone who will let her rest her frosty little face nearby.

Patty is shy at first, but once she trusts you, she is pure sweetness. Every morning, she greets her person with the cutest little happy dance on her hind legs. She’s quiet, easygoing, and the perfect mix of wanting to be near you when you’re around while also being independent when you’re busy.

Patty doesn’t need chaos or constant entertainment. She just needs a calm, patient home where she can feel safe, loved, and adored for the perfectly weird little treasure she is. 🤎

Who needs a cup of Latte? ☕❤️

Latte came to us as a tiny 9-week-old puppy with a heart murmur. Further testing revealed she had PDA, a serious congenital heart defect that required surgery to save her life. The same surgery that sadly took our beloved Sadie from us. 🥺

But thanks to that surgery, Latte has done beautifully. She has no ongoing issues related to her PDA and is living life exactly as every puppy should - happy, playful, and full of love.

Latte adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She would thrive in a home with another playful pup to help continue building her confidence. While she can be a little nervous in new situations at first, she settles in beautifully once she feels safe and realizes she’s loved.

She’s very good in the house, uses puppy pads, and prefers sleeping curled up under the covers with her favorite human. Latte is not crate trained and would much rather be snuggled beside you than sleeping alone.

Her ideal home will have:
• A secure fenced yard
• Another friendly, playful dog
• A patient family willing to give her time to adjust and blossom

After everything this sweet girl has overcome, from heart surgery as a tiny puppy to waiting for a family of her own, we’d love nothing more than to see her spoiled, cherished, and adored in the forever home she deserves.

We are heartbroken to share that Sadie did not survive surgery.

The damage to her heart was far more extensive than anyone anticipated. Her PDA was buried deep within the heart tissue, her aorta was severely damaged, and there were significant abnormalities within her chest. The surgical team could hardly believe she had survived as long as she did.

Though our hearts are shattered, there is comfort in knowing she passed peacefully. She was relaxed, comfortable, fully under anesthesia, and did not suffer. Without surgery, her death was imminent and would have been horrific.

Sadie’s last month was filled with love. She became a bed dog (her greatest joy), enjoyed table scraps, ran zoomies in the sun with her dog friends, and was spoiled rotten by her foster family.

And though we couldn’t save her, her final chapter was a really good one. 💔

Today is the day.

Sadie’s heart surgery is starting now.

She has an incredible surgical team focused entirely on her, and we are so grateful for the skilled hands caring for our tiny girl right now. We trust her doctors completely.

But while we’re hopeful, we also want to be honest: this is a very serious surgery.

The damage caused by her heart condition didn’t happen overnight, and her little heart has been working much harder than it should have for a very long time. This procedure gives her the chance at the healthy future she deserves, but it is still major, very serious surgery with extremely high risks. Right now, all we can do is wait, hope, and send every good thought her way.

Please keep Sadie in your prayers, thoughts, positive vibes, or whatever form of support you believe in today. We’re all rooting for her. We’ll share updates as soon as we have them.

✨Adoptable Spotlight: Sarah✨

Sarah is a sweet, timid little girl with a gentle soul. She came to us as part of a large breeder surrender involving multiple dogs exposed to parvo. Sarah had six puppies, and heartbreakingly, none of them survived.

Despite everything she’s been through, Sarah remains incredibly loving and kind. She does great with other dogs, is pad trained, and would thrive in a calm home with patient people who will let her settle in at her own pace.

Sarah has dry eye, which requires lifelong eye drops 2–3 times daily to keep her comfortable and healthy. She’s very cooperative with her care and doesn’t ask for much - just a safe place to call home and a family to love her. Her adoption fee is $350 and she is fostered in Florence, IN. ❤️

🐾 Thank you for sponsoring Sadie’s pre-surgery groom!

Because of your generosity, we were also able to treat Sundae to a grooming appointment, too. The girls are feeling fresh, clean, and beautiful after their “spaw” day.

Sadie’s heart surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. It’s a major surgery, and while we’re anxious, we’re also incredibly grateful that this lifesaving procedure is an option for her. Without surgery, Sadie’s condition will continue to worsen, and she will not survive. This operation is her chance at a normal, happy life.

We still have a long way to go with fundraising to cover the cost of her surgery. If you’ve been considering donating, sharing her story, or sending good thoughts her way, now is the time. Every dollar gets us one step closer to giving this sweet girl the future she deserves.
