Meet Chaos. 💕🐾
Chaos is our newest little medical mystery and, at just 10 weeks old, she’s already living up to her name. 😂
This tiny Cavapoo came to us needing quite a bit of hands-on care. Right now, she has to be force fed every 5–6 hours, she’s on multiple medications, and her bloodwork is quite honestly an absolute mess. We’re keeping a very close eye on her and doing everything we can to help her little body get through whatever is going on.
The good news is that Chaos is still alert, engaged, and absolutely LOVES the other dogs. ❤️ She wants to be involved in everything happening around her and has plenty of personality packed into that tiny body.
Because of the level of care she needs, Chaos will be traveling right along with me for a little while. Today she’s getting secretly smuggled into a hotel in Columbus 😂 and next week she’ll be making trips to Cleveland and Nashville. When you need to be fed every few hours and have multiple medications throughout the day, you become my tiny travel companion. 🤷♀️
It’s been a while since we’ve had a puppy who required this much constant care, but having fewer dogs in the rescue right now has made a huge difference. It means there is more time for babies like Chaos who need around-the-clock attention. There’s time to sit with her, feed her, give her medications, monitor every little change, and still let her enjoy being a puppy whenever she feels well enough.
Rescue doesn’t always happen at the most convenient time. Sometimes a little dog shows up in the middle of an already difficult season and simply says, “I need you.”
And that’s exactly what Chaos has done.
For now, we’re taking things one feeding, one dose of medication, one road trip, and one day at a time.
Please keep our sweet little Chaos in your thoughts. She has a lot going against her right now, but she also has an entire rescue behind her reminding her that she’s worth fighting for. ❤️🐾
