FOHCL promotes use of the Library. We sponsor adult and youth programs as well as concerts and museum pass programs.

We organize fund-raisers such as the annual spring book sale and basket raffle, direct donation programs, and corporate grants.

. Here’s a reminder regarding the Gingerbread House competition!

Hunterdon County Library System's 16th Annual Gingerbread Competition 🌲 will be accepting entries starting TOMORROW, Nov. 2nd to Nov. 28th! Join categories such as: Kids Solo (Ages 12 and under), Student (Ages 13-18), Adult (Individual), Family, Group, Professionals, and Staff. Start brainstorming your Gingerbread house, and we can't wait to see what you build! The HCLS Gingerbread Competition is generously sponsored by FOHCL, Friends of the Hunterdon County Library, Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission, Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, and Progressive Center for Independent Living.

Friends, get your creative juices flowing for the 16th Annual Gingerbread Competition sponsored by the Hunterdon County Library and the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library. Perhaps a gingerbread house of the Grange Building during the annual book sale!?!

Games Fest is back and with a Revolutionary twist to keep America's 250th celebration going! Register for special games like Dungeons and Dragons, Nations and Cannons: The Battle of Sleepy Hollow, and NextGen Miniatures: The Battle of Princeton. Drop in from 11-3 for other games for everyone! We'll see you on October 17th at Headquarters Library.

. This is exciting news!

Starting on or around Monday, October 12th, we are beginning a renovation project at our North County Branch. 🚧📚🏫

With this renovation comes a new meeting room, group study spaces, and more space in our children's area! The library will remain open while work continues. Thank you for your patience during this process, and we can't wait for you to see North County Branch after these exciting updates are completed!
