A huge thank you to our friends at Dexcom for spending time with our Camp Leo families this week! 💙

Campers and families have the opportunity to learn more about the Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System, which provides real-time glucose readings, customizable alerts, and valuable trend information through a small wearable sensor. This technology helps people living with diabetes make more informed treatment decisions and spend more time focusing on what matters most—being kids at camp.

We're grateful for partners like Dexcom who support our campers, families, and community, and who continue advancing technology that helps make life with type 1 diabetes a little easier.

Another Camp Leo tradition quietly comes to life…Smudgies.

For decades, our incredible Lions Club volunteers have gathered to mix, spread, stir, laugh, and assemble hundreds (and hundreds!) of this legendary camp treat by hand. Retro shirts, old recipes, familiar faces, and plenty of teamwork.

If you’ve been to Camp Leo, you know exactly what we’re talking about. 😉 If you haven’t… well… you’ll just have to experience one for yourself.

And if you’re looking for the recipe… you’re going to have to ask “Cookie.” We’re pretty sure it’s under lock and key. 🤫
