We are saddened to hear of the devastating fire at the Paris covered market Le Marche des Enfants Rouges. Our thoughts are with all the vendors as they navigate this trying time.

Le Marché des Enfants Rouges, which opened in 1615 as a vibrant food hall, was a fixture for chefs, cooks and tourists.

And some of us are in Kent / Green River College listening to the candidates of the 5th, 33rd, & 47th Legislative Districts sponsored by the Kent Chamber.

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Keelin Everly-Lang and the Federal Way Mirror for winning first place for General Excellence at the 2026 WNPA Better Newspaper Contest!!

The Federal Way Mirror received two awards over the weekend at the 2026 Better Newspaper Contest presented by the Washington Newspapers Publishers Association (WNPA), including the top prize for General Excellence.

We spent the day at the Washington Business Fair at Pierce College in Puyallup. Our goal was to learn ways we can assist our future vendors. We networked with local businesses, non-profits, and government agencies. Day well spent!
