Thank you to all the folks that came to the Palace Theater last week to see the Spring performance of the Salt City New Horizons Orchestra! The ensemble welcomes adult string players of all ages and abilities. Dust off your instrument and join us in the Fall. The Spring Session of SCNHO starts on January 15th! We will be playing a bit of the Greatest Showman, Palladio, Rossini, and some original compositions along side the classical greats! Time to dust off your instrument and make some great new friends in the process! Join us! Thursday evening rehearsals in Fayetteville, NY.

A contingent of select SCNHO members played at the VA hospital today for the permanent residents. It is my favorite annual small ensemble excursion! We are so grateful for their sacrifices and service. Happy Holidays to our U.S. Veterans!

Congratulations to the Salt City New Horizons Orchestra for a fabulous concert at the Palace Theater, Syracuse on Thursday! Most of you made it through a tough snow band to perform, bringing with you an enthusiastic audience!

Salt City NHO will have a lively holiday concert on December 11th 7:00. Come see us at The Palace Theater 2384 James Street, Syracuse NY. We are a large group of friends sharing our love of orchestral music each week….Haydn, Tchaikovsky, movie music and holiday standards…we got it all!!!

Salt City New Horizons Orchestra will start its' 11th season of community music making on September 18th! Violins, violas, cellos and basses are all welcome. If you would like to join us as we play Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Folk Tunes, Show Tunes and original compositions, check out our website at saltcitynho.weebly.com. We are 50+ strong and continue to grow, playing in small ensembles throughout our fall session at hospitals, community centers and fundraising events.
