F-M Youth Basketball League

F-M Youth Basketball League FM Youth Basketball The League is run by volunteer parents, with assistance from some of the F-M High School basketball coaching staff.

The F-M Youth Basketball League began more than 30 years ago as a recreational and instructional developmental league for children living in the Fayetteville-Manlius school district. The League is a registered 501(c) non-profit organization, whose primary source of funding is player registration fees. For the 2022-23 season, we are pleased to obtain partial sponsorship of our programs through dona

tions from DICK's Sporting Goods. The official League objectives are to: "(1) provide an opportunity to play basketball; (2) provide an enjoyable recreational experience; (3) teach the ideals of teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respect for authority; and (4) teach the fundamental skills of basketball. The attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary to these objectives.” (from the by-laws, amended and approved May 6, 2004). The Fayetteville-Manlius Youth Basketball League is run by a voluntary Board of Directors and a League Consultant. The following individuals have agreed to serve the league for 2022-23 year in various roles:
