I am SO excited to share some great news!

We have officially been approved by Unified Robotics HQ to establish the Tennessee Valley Unified Robotics Region — started right here at Lincoln County High School!

This is so much bigger than simply starting another robotics team. As an official region, we can now bring schools and organizations together, add Unified Robotics teams, host events and tournaments, and help expand inclusive robotics opportunities throughout the Tennessee Valley.

Unified Robotics gives students with and without intellectual disabilities the opportunity to work side-by-side as teammates — designing, building, competing, and learning together. I am incredibly excited about what this can mean for our students and for students throughout our area.

What started as an idea to bring Unified Robotics to Lincoln County has officially become the Tennessee Valley Region!

Now it’s time to start building teams and planning our first tournament! 🤖❤️

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported this idea. I cannot wait to see where we take it!

🤖🚁 Lincoln County Robotics at the AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium!

Yesterday, our students had an awesome opportunity to attend the AUVSI Pathfinder Symposium at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville!

Our students were able to demo their robots, talk with engineers and industry professionals, explore incredible drone and unmanned systems technology, and learn more about how these technologies are being used in defense and other real-world applications. 🚁⚙️

Experiences like this are so important for our students—they get to see that the skills they are learning in robotics connect directly to exciting STEM careers happening right in our region.

🔧🤖 Robotics season is getting underway!

At Tuesday’s meeting, our middle school robotics students jumped right in with one of the most important first steps—learning how to safely and correctly use the tools in our shop! 🛠️🥽

They’re building skills, learning safety, and getting ready to design, build, and compete this season. We’re excited to see what this crew accomplishes!

Let the 2026–2027 robotics season begin! 🤖⚙️

🤖 What a GREAT kickoff to our 2026-2027 Robotics season! 🤖

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make our robotics kickoff such a success! We were thrilled to have all of our feeder schools represented at the meeting, and it was wonderful to see so much excitement, energy, and support for the season ahead.

We’re looking forward to an amazing year of learning, building, teamwork, and competition! We’re so grateful for our students, families, mentors, and everyone who helps make this program possible.

And a special THANK YOU to JC for our new flag for competition!!!
