⚓️ 35 Years of Sharing Christ With Others ⚓️
As we reflect on the conclusion of the 35th year of Sharing Christ With Others Youth Camp, there are many emotions that come to mind. Above all, one stands out: THANKFULNESS.
We are thankful to Pam Harper Case for the countless hours spent planning, preparing, and serving meals to ensure that campers, adults, and visitors were well fed throughout the week.
We are thankful for the 193 campers who chose to spend their week at camp diving into God's Word, building friendships, and anchoring their faith through Bible classes, devotionals, prayer walks, worship, and fellowship.
We are especially thankful that two campers decided to be baptized into Christ and to dedicate their lives to following Jesus during camp this week. There is no greater reminder of why we do what we do than seeing young people surrender their lives to Christ and begin their walk with Him.
We are thankful for all of our teachers and speakers who sacrificed their time to share God's Word and invest in the lives of our young people.
We are thankful to Matthew Miller for providing the curriculum, lessons, and resources that helped guide our studies throughout the week.
We are thankful to Terry Sue Fanning, who not only continues to lead an incredible camp experience for our younger campers but also stepped in as a cabin leader for the younger girls this year.
We are thankful to Hunter Case for helping with daily schedules, plumbing issues, first aid needs, maintenance projects, and countless behind-the-scenes tasks that kept camp running smoothly.
We are thankful to Amy Rhoton Cashion and Laney Cashion, who handled registration, check-in, check-out, and shirt orders with professionalism and excellence.
We are thankful to Ella Fanning, who continued to give 110% to camp, activities, and the campers while continuing her journey of recovery following her battle with cancer. Her dedication and spirit were an inspiration to us all.
We are thankful for the many volunteers, guests, counselors, cooks, nurses, maintenance workers, and supporters who gave their time—whether for the entire week or just a few minutes—to help make camp successful.
Most importantly, we are thankful to God for blessing this ministry for 35 years and for allowing us the opportunity to continue sharing Christ with future generations.
The 35th year of Sharing Christ With Others would not have been possible without each and every one of you.
While we leave camp physically exhausted, our hearts are full. We are already excited to begin planning for the 36th Annual Sharing Christ With Others Youth Camp and to see what God has in store next.
