Friends of Farmington

Friends of Farmington Friends of Farmington is a 501c:3 non-profit which will promote and support projects for the betterment of our community.

Friends of Farmington believes that addressing challenges in a positive and proactive manner can make Farmington a more vibrant and productive community. Our vision is to provide a place within the community to propel economic development, by sponsoring events, that increase downtown traffic and foster small business. In addition, we will support our friends in Recovery by providing space for meetings and peer support. Friends of Farmington is as a 501 (C)(3) charitable organization.

Hi everyone, we have been participating in Moose Mountain Greenways Woods, Water and Wildlife event for the past couple of years and are thrilled to attend again this year selling cold beverages. This event is on August 8th. Hay Day is also on August 8th. We had planned on doing an indoor market but due to prior obligations, many of our regular participants are busy so it has been cancelled.

We really want to do something fun for Hay Day so we have decided to do a cake walk. Basically, it's like the game of musical chairs but you win a cake when your number is called. If anyone is interested in donating a cake, or cupcakes to give out to the little ones, please reach out to us. The cakes do not have to be home made. Let me say that again. The cakes DO NOT have to be baked by you. Hannaford, Market Basket, and Walmart all make great cakes and cupcakes. Cakes by Beth makes amazing cakes! We are hoping to get at least 10 to give out a cake every 30 minutes. If we get more cakes, we will play more often. Thank you all for participating on our volunteer page. We are so grateful for your support.
