On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the Supervisors of the Checklist will hold their second meeting to allow voters who were notified of their removal from the Town of Milton Checklist. After the meeting, anyone who has not contacted either the clerk's office or the Supervisors to re-register, will be officially removed from the checklist. Any voter who was removed, may re-register with the Supervisors at the Primary Election.

Well, August is looking to be a very busy month! There are so many activities going on, it will be hard to choose which ones to participate in. Hopefully the predicted chance of thunderstorms hold off for the weekend so we can all enjoy some outdoor fun! Our summer camp will be wrapping up next week, so the beach is about to get a lot quieter. PTA is hosting their planning BBQ on Thursday, so if you want to join, this is a great opportunity to come meet some of the other members. The big Woods, Water & Wildlife Festival is this weekend, and the 250th Old Home Day Celebration at the NH Farm Museum the following weekend. So much to do! Hopefully all our families will be able to get to some of the activities. Enjoy!

On Monday, July 27, 2026, the Supervisors of the Checklist will be meeting to start the process of sending out letters to registered voters who have not voted in the last 5 years. Per RSA 654;39 requires the Supervises of the Checklist to verify the Checklist of registered voters annually. The process of must be completed by August 31, 2026. If you receive a letter from the Supervisors, you have until August 26th to re-register with the Supervisor or the Town Clerk's Office. If you do not re-register by that date, you will be removed from the voter checklist. You will still have the opportunity to re-register at the next election with the Supervisors of the Checklist or at any other Supervisors session prior to the election

Costume Contest Sponsored by Ira Miller’s General Store, to include: Best Float, Best Vehicle, Best Bicycle, Best Costume & Most Patriotic Pet! It doesn't get anymore hometown than this. Participants are welcome, but please follow all Milton PD directions for parking and road closure for safety.

Registered voter's please note, this is the last time that registered voters can change their party affiliation prior to the NH State Primary in September. If you do wish to change your registered party, you may do so at the Town Clerk's Office during regular business hours, or at this Supervisor's Session. After the June 2, 2026 there will be no changes to registrations until after the primary.

Happy Mother's Day to all our Moms! As we welcome May, there are even more great events and activities to take part in. It seems like the cold days will never end, but we are getting there. We salute all our veterans and hope everyone will come out to the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th beginning at 10:00 AM. We are looking for vendors for our Milton Summer Kick-off on June 20th, there is a vendor application posted on the town of Milton Website under the recreation department page. Lets hope some warm spring days are headed our way. Enjoy!
