Saturday June 06, 2026 marks the 82nd anniversary of the allied landings on the beaches of Normandy, France 1944
D-Day!
Here at Farmington Fish & Game club, we will be celebrating the successful mission by having a little show and tell of some of the equipment that was used by some of the allied and axis forces. We may even touch off a few rounds in memorial of this great event. We will be hanging out on the special use range between 10 AM and noon if the weather is good, the rifle range if the weather is not so good. If you own any rifle or side arm from World War II or a replica of… And would like to come down, send me a text and we will leave some room on a rack or a banquet table for you to display your weapons. 781-756-4877. 🐟 That’s a wrap for our Kids Fishing Day 2026!!

Thank you to all of the 120 kiddos who came out to participate! It was a successful fishing day for most but overall it’s all about having some outdoor fun! 🎣

It was awesome to see so many families out fishing and having fun! Everyone left happy and with full belly’s thanks to Good Eatz 603 LLC and Big Belly’s BBQ !

We’ve brought in a few of our favorite food trucks Big Belly’s BBQ + Good Eatz 603 LLC and every kid who participates (ages 4-12) gets a FREE lunch!! 🫶

Don’t worry parents, they’ll have plenty of food available for you to purchase too!! If you don’t have kids and just want to swing by for the food, we WELCOME you too!!

And of course, we’ll have some amazing raffles + 50/50 too! 🙌

JUNIOR RIFLE SAFETY & MARKSMANSHIP
Saturday, May 30 at 10 AM, Farmington Fish & Game Club will be holding a junior rifle safety and marksmanship clinic. Any young shooer ages 10-18 it's welcome to sign up and participate. There is no charge for this clinic, all required equipment will be provided, including rifles and ammunition. Space is limited, so if you have someone who is interested in learning the basics of Rifle safety and the foundations of Rifle marksmanship, please let me know. We should be finishing up around 1 PM. Registration opens at 7:30 am! Bring your our bait or you can purchase onsite from Berry's Bait! No pole, no worries, we’ll have a limited supply of poles for kiddos that need one! 🎣

Every child participant receives one of these cool kid t-shirts printed by one of our event sponsors, Tracings Graphics, Screenprinting, & Ad Specialty Items!

Participating kids also receive a FREE LUNCH from our food truck friends, Good Eatz 603 and Big Belly’s BBQ ! Don’t worry parents, you can purchase lunch from the yummy trucks too! 😍

Thank you to everyone who came out for the World War II weapons and field gear "show and tell".
A young man come with his grandparents, about 12 years old… Knew what everything was and was thrilled to be able to handle everything from a paratrooper carbine to a BAR. Of course, the M1 and the 1911's… Gave us great hope for the future! 🇺🇸
