Meeting Theme — Ugly Fat Quarter Swap
Bring in your ugliest fat quarter for a fun swap! One man's trash is another man's treasure! (The reveal of the item you create with the ugly fat quarter will be next year, so you will have some time to work on it!)

Other Items:
If you made one of the quilted postcards or received one - please bring to show & tell!
Work continues on updating the membership list - it appears it did not get passed around the whole room last meeting, so work in progress!

The Rice County Fair is happening now here in Faribault...there is still time to visit and see all the quilts, and other quilted/stitched/sewn items! I see some Piecemakers won ribbons! Great Job to all who entered!!

20th Annual Quilt Minnesota Shop Hop starts Friday July 24, and goes thru August 15, 2026!

Who’s ready?! 🎉 Tomorrow marks the start of the 20th Anniversary of Quilt Minnesota! We can’t wait to welcome quilters from near and far for another year of road trips, inspiration, friendships, and fabric. Safe travels to everyone, we’ll see you soon! ❤️🧵

Meeting Theme: Christmas In July!

Bring your completed Christmas Card Challenge item to show! Back at our January Meeting, we drew Christmas Cards out of a hat and you were to be inspired by the card you drew to make a quilted item! Didn't have to be an exact replica of the card, but could simply be just inspired by the colors, theme, characters, etc! Can't wait to see what has been made!

Show & Tell will also be held as always so even if its not part of the challenge, we like to see things!

If you have examples of Shashiko please bring to meeting and share. If you’ve done this type of sewing before and are willing to help with demo please let Darlene know!

Other Item: Bring raffle quilt ideas (at least queen size) - September 2027 will be here before we know it!

Things to Note:

September 26, 2026 - we will have a Work Day, with a Thread Painting Class Plus Trunk Show in the afternoon!

July 2026 Meeting - we will show our completed Christmas Card Challenge items ( I think this year we drew our cards from the hat at out January meeting since we didnt have our December meeting)
