Colin Reposa (2003) is our next 2025 inductee. Colin was a standout three-sport athlete that earned varsity letters in lacrosse (4), hockey (3), and football (3) while at Falmouth High School.
Lacrosse at FHS was where Colin left the most indelible mark, as he set school records for career goals, assists, and points, as well as most points in a single season. He later went on to play 4 years of lacrosse at Providence College.
Colin was a leader on and off the field. As an assistant coach when he played lacrosse for Greg Gilbert, I can attest that he was/is an equally good kid and person on and off the field and sheet.
We all miss his mom's cowbell!! Which thankfully made an appearance at the induction ceremony this year as well.

Currently, Colin lives in Dover, MA with his wife Erin, 4 year old Liam, and 1 year old Hudson.

Congratulations Colin!!

Coach Janey Norton is our next featured inductee from this year's Class of 2025 Hall of Fame Class. Coach Norton is the first female coach to be inducted into our Hall of Fame. Janey amassed an incredible record of 294 wins, 69 losses, and 60 ties. Her teams qualified for the MIAA Tournament every single year of her tenure—21 straight playoff appearances—and captured 11 league championships, including seven Old Colony League titles (1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2004) and four Atlantic Coast League championships (2005, 2006, 2007, 2014). The 2003 team won the MIAA South Sectional Championship in 2003. She was a beloved coach and she opened doors for dozens of her athletes to compete at the collegiate level in Divisions I, II, and III, with many earning scholarships.
After 35 years as an educator, Norton retired from teaching but continues to mentor others. Janey enjoys life in Falmouth with her wife, Leslie, cherishes time with her grandchildren, loves traveling, and can often be found relaxing at Old Silver Beach. Welcome to the LHS/FHS Athletic Hall of Fame Coach!

Bob Buscher's visitation and services were yesterday. There was an amazing turn out. As I stood in line with another HoF Committee member, I was very grateful that Bob, was able to be inducted in person this year rather than the alternative. I was so happy that the committee made this happen, as I would have been really regretful if I was saying "We wish Bob could have been here when he was inducted." I want to be clear about two things, Bob was voted into the Hall of Fame unanimously based on his hall of fame career and impact. The committee just waived a bylaw (again unanimously) that stipulates a coach is retired for 5 years before being considered for the Hall of Fame. We received a lot of positive feedback and thanks as of late since the induction, recent days, and even yesterday which was appreciated. As I said to one colleague and great friend of Bob's when he expressed the same sentiment to me on the way out of the funeral home... “Bob did it!! The committee simply expedited the process. I'm proud and thankful that we did!

It is with extremely heavy hearts that I share the heartbreaking news that we have lost Bob Buscher. Bobby was a one of our October inductees and his induction and moment on the stage and at the podium was the most special, poignant, and memorable part of the evening and I'll go so far as to say it was possibly one of the most memorable LHS/FHS Athletic Hall of Fame moments ever!! Bob fought the good fight and kicked cancer's ass for a long time. As one committee member said today " Bob's passing was a blessing for him. He was truly a tough SOB"!! Beyond the undeniable Hall of Fame coaching career, Bob was a hall of fame educator, husband, father, friend and undoubtedly a true hall of fame human. God speed Coach, your impact on all whom you touched will never fade!!
