Our pastors faithfully pray for us, encourage us, study God’s Word, and shepherd our churches week after week. This month, let’s be intentional about showing them the love and appreciation they deserve!

Whether it’s through a simple thank-you, a word of encouragement, a handwritten note, or a prayer for them and their families, small acts of appreciation can go a long way. ❤️

This month, we have the opportunity to celebrate and appreciate our pastors! Pastors faithfully serve, pray and intercede for us, encourage us, and prepare a Word to share with us week after week.

Join us Saturday, October 3, from 10 AM–3 PM and browse a variety of homemade crafts, gifts, and unique finds from a variety of vendors while supporting a great cause. 100% of proceeds will support our annual Meal Pack Event in November, helping provide nutritious meals to children around the world.

A new church has launched—and we all get to celebrate! 🙌

On September 12, Pastor Yayo Espinosa and his team launched Light Community Church. But they didn’t plant this church alone. Together, the churches of NorthStar helped make it possible.

Through prayer, generosity, encouragement, and practical support, our churches came alongside Yayo and his team to help plant a new church and reach a new community.

This is the power of a Network: we can do more together than apart. ❤️

What a weekend across the NorthStar family! 🤍

NorthStar churches joined churches from Maryland and DC at Columbia Church for a Multi-Cultural Worship Gathering, creating space for worship, honest conversation, and a panel discussion between black and white pastors about the assumptions our communities can hold and how we can bridge those gaps through relationship and collaboration in Kingdom work.

Meanwhile, NorthStar churches in the Fredericksburg and Stafford region came together to pack 40,000 meals with Meals from the Heart, all going to local families! 🙌

We’re grateful for a weekend filled with worship, unity, relationship, and serving our communities together.
