NorthStar Mission Center DC was a dream of ours, to provide affordable housing for mission groups, student groups, and local groups to come to the DC area to serve, grow, and have a great experience, while also bringing mission teams to our area to serve our local churches and ministries. We spent many years dreaming and then building out our space to make a comfortable and high-quality center to meet the needs of groups. We have cherished the last several years hosting groups that have come from across the United States and Canada, as well as local groups, and have made great friendships and partnerships along the way.

We unfortunately have to close down our Mission Center this year due to changes with the availability of our rented space. We are sad not to be able to host your groups anymore, but we would love to help bring groups to our area by connecting teams with churches in Northern Virginia and DC to either host or provide mission projects for you. If you have a group that wants to connect with one of our churches or partnering ministries, contact [email protected].

We are excited to partner with high school student, Sarah K. and her American Heritage Girls troop as she completes her Stars & Stripes project to improve our entrance area at our Mission Center.
So far, they have laid down pavers and enhanced the brick wall leading to our entrance. And there's still more to come!

Joy Ministries from Central KY, came here for their Spring Break Mission Trip.
Today, they served with NOVA RAFT, helping set up a home for an Afghan refugee family.

NorthStar Mission Center DC is back in action again! We've had a busy year with mission teams staying with us and Team Rubicon using our center as a base for their work with Afghan refugees.

Last week, I had an opportunity to visit Camp Upshur, at Quantico Marine base to deliver donated items to the refugees housed there with Team Rubicon who were staying with us here at MCDC. It was good to see everything we worked so hard to collect be so appreciated and in use. (Especially those soccer balls! ⚽)
While there, Major Reeves, asked for help with a Fall Festival. He mentioned that it would not just be for the children, but that the whole camp would be interested in this American tradition! (ALL 5000!)
We will be collecting donated items, next week Tuesday 10/27 and Wednesday 10/28 only, here at, NorthStar Mission Center: 8730 Sudley Rd, Manassas, VA 20110
