GRiST Grains Result In Something Tasty (GRiST)- A Northern Virginia Homebrewing Club based in Arlington and serving all surrounding counties.

GRiST Exists:
- To foster and promote correct and acceptable principles of homebrewing.
- To provide a forum for the discussion of the technological advancements in brewing.
- To encourage the creative aspect of the art of brewing.
- To encourage personal responsibility when consuming beer or other alcoholic beverages.
- To provide an opportunity for the examination of various styles of home brewe

d beverages for the purposes of competition, evaluation, feedback, and problem-solving. GOALS
- To be recognized as a respected and respectful professional organization for its members to examine the art and science of brewing.
- To act as a fair and pleasant method to discover more about homebrewing, beer and mead evaluation, and brewing techniques.
- To develop the hobby and enjoyment of home brewing in the community.
- To promote the responsible use and enjoyment of alcoholic beverages. AFFILIATIONS
GRIST Home Brew Club:
- Is an American Homebrewers Association (AHA) affiliated organization.
- Is associated with other local clubs for the cordial and shared advancement and better understanding of the art of homebrewing.
- Is a responsible member of the communities of Northern Virginia.
- Holds competitions and/or competes using the guidelines for brewing and judging styles of beer and mead as outlined by the Beer Judging Certificate Program (BJCP).
