One of Star’s puppies “Snoopy” has came back to the rescue at no fault of her own. She’s 6 months old, current on vaccines, and has been a family pet the past 4 months. If you feel like you can give her a loving forever home, feel free to message me 💕 in Fallon,NV but willing to help/work with transport options.

Hey Facebook people… I know I haven’t posted on here for a little bit, but my personal life has gotten a little chaotic.

I’m doing a courtesy post for one of Star’s puppies 😞

For the people who aren’t familiar with Star, I took her and her litter of 8 pups in at like 6 days old. The family was euth listed at a high kill shelter in CA.

This gal is now 6 months old. The family is unable to care for her as they have had some personal medical issues arise so they are reaching out to me to see if we can help get her placed into a loving deserving home. They did finish her puppy vaccines as well as her rabies vaccine. Shes been pretty much a house/family dog but still can be transitioned into a working dog for maybe a hobby farm? She’s part Great Pyranese/Husky. She’s currently still with the owner in NV (near Fallon) but will be coming back to rescue with me soon if we can’t get her placed soon. Any and all help is appreciated in spreading the word 💕 attached is a current picture.

This is what giving these dogs patience and time looks like…

Star may still be in the “puppy phase” and driving me crazy with the chewing on anything and everything 😅 but she’s doing great with the goats and getting the hang of being a working dog even though she has some husky in her along with great Pyranese 😂

Yes she is still available for adoption. No I have not exposed her to birds (I have ducks and geese) yet nor cats, but with time that will come 💕

Bear is a 13 yr old Caucasian Shepherd I pulled from our local rescue… she is currently in a foster home getting the upmost care she can possibly have.

The foster mom noticed some unwelcomed friends on Bear so she took her into have looked at. We attempted to give her a bath/spa day when we first pulled her but she was not having us try to clean her back side. So foster mom had been doing the best she could on working with Bear to try and get it cleaned up. Well the insect bugs she saw where maggots 🤮
They sedated Bear, got her butt cleaned up/shaved, did bloodwork and chest X-rays. Bloodwork came back remarkably normal for the most part but X-rays showed a more globular appearne to the heart. They rescheduled to do a more in depth ultrasound of the heart and abdomen next week. This vet visit is costing upwards of a few grand and looking for any kind of donations to help offset this vet bill. Again, anything helps even if that means sharing the post 😊

Bear is such a sweet gal who loves everyone she meets and deserves the world and then some. I know Bear will thank you for helping her out in what ever time she has left with us 🥰

If your looking for a trained livestock guardian dog, Fallon Animal Shelter has two, possibly 3 males in (all from the same family/household). They just have two listed as of right now but pretty sure they had a 3rd one brought in Friday evening. The owner of the dogs was involved in a serious accident and may not recover from injuries. So the family had to give up the dogs unfortunately. These dogs have been working dogs around goats, pigs, and birds from the sounds of it. If you have the room to keep the remaining pack together as they already have an established working pack order, that would be AMAZING 😍 please call the shelter to inquire. They do not hold dogs and it is a first come basis. Again, attached are the two photos of the dogs they have listed.

Laci is a 5 yr old Pyranese (not spayed) and current on vaccines. She does great with dogs, kids (babies through teenagers) and doesn’t bother cats. I believe she’s in the Reno area (if I’m remembering correctly) lol. They are in need of rehoming her due to their daughter (owner of the dog) not having time for her and Laci is not getting the attention she deserves/seeks. If you are able to open your home up to this precious gal. Please PM me and I can get you the owners phone number.

We had some new life born on the farm yesterday and Star seems to do fine with the newborn babies 💕 as you can see… she has the pleasure of going in and out of the pen at her own leisure

No more puppies for Star… she got spayed Monday and is now able/ready to start seeking her forever home 🥰
Does great with other dogs, kids, and is doing well with goats. She still has some tendencies to want to play chase on occasion but stops when you tell her leave it. Have not tried her around cats or birds yet. Feel free to shoot me a message to inquire about adopting. 💕
