Days of Our THRIVE — Grateful Hearts, Helping Hands

Saturday, we were short on volunteers, but everyone came together to make the day smooth and welcoming for our unsheltered neighbors. Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who helped make it possible.🥰

Maureen Filburns, thank you for donating bagged lunches, providing our neighbors with delicious lunches to take along and enjoy.🥰

Domino's Pizza thank you for donating 14 boxes of large pizza! Your generosity helped fill our tables and our neighbors’ plates.🥰

Thank you for the everyday essentials!

Soros always has a heart to help our unsheltered neighbors. Thank you for donating two full bags of body spray and two packages of large boxer shorts.🥰

Our very own “milk lady,” Helen Sullivan, celebrated her 80th birthday! 🎂🥰

Instead of receiving gifts for herself, Helen asked that all monetary gifts be donated to THRIVE For Humanity to help care for our unsheltered neighbors.🥰

Our hearts are beyond full. Helen, your thoughtfulness, compassion, and loving heart remind us how much goodness one person can bring into the lives of others💕.

Thank you to everyone who honored her birthday by giving to THRIVE. Happy 80th birthday, Helen! You are so loved, and we are grateful to have you in our THRIVE family. ❤️

DAYS OF OUR THRIVE — THURSDAY

Thursday’s episode featured our wonderful THRIVE tribe, yummy lunches, Mediterranean chicken did I say amazing and a puzzle with plenty of helping hands!

Joan, Marsha, Chelsea, Ronnell, and Fillip helped keep the day moving. Rose Marie, at 92, reminded us that a giving heart doesn’t retire! Caroline is a little younger but this is a community post, not a birth certificate investigation! 😂

Our unsheltered neighbors Andrea, Sam, Heather, and Tom pitched in, too. Giving and receiving happen around the same table here. Everyone belongs, and everyone has something to offer. 🥰

Thank you to SVDP for the yummy lunches! A good meal brings people together and gives us all a reason to pause between the bustle and conversation. 🥰

Southcoast, Child & Family, MassHealth, and First Step Inn each brought a piece of life’s puzzle, helping our neighbors connect with support and take their next steps. Together, those pieces help create a little more peace.

A great start to a new collaboration! St. Anne's Hospital/Brown team donated Saturday’s lunch, and we are so thankful for the delicious bagged lunches prepared for our neighbors. What a beautiful example of teamwork and community care! 🥰
