Since its inception this Home has remained committed to the desires of its founders. That vision was, and is, to provide a Christian home for children, who for whatever reason, are not permitted to live with their parents in a normal family setting or whose parents are deceased. We are committed to serving the needs of children without regard to creed, color, race or religion; to providing service

s and opportunities that will enhance the total well-being of every child – mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually; and to the Christian values upon which the Home was established and which we believe and teach unashamedly. It is our desire and prayer that those who seek employment at Falcon Children’s Home will subscribe to the same position on morality and conduct.

💙 Making a Difference in the Lives of Children in Foster Care 💙

This week’s Wednesday post features a very special guest, Morgan Harrell, who has chosen Falcon Children’s Home as a charity of choice through her work with Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthy Blue.

Morgan recently introduced us to the Comfort Cases Program, an incredible initiative created to restore dignity and hope to children entering foster care. Too often, children arrive with their belongings packed in a trash bag. Comfort Cases changes that by providing each child with a bag of their very own, filled with brand-new personal care items. 🧸💙

What makes this story even more special is that Morgan isn’t just supporting foster children—she has answered the call to become a foster parent herself and is currently going through Falcon Children’s Home’s foster care program to become licensed. We are so grateful for her heart to serve and her willingness to make a difference in the lives of children and families.

There’s so much to celebrate at Falcon Children’s Home and Falcon Christian Academy!

🍔 A huge thank you to Big Ed’s Grill and Montana Mac's Snacks for coming to campus and treating our children and staff to a delicious meal completely free of charge! We were truly honored to have both food trucks here and loved seeing the smiles and excitement they brought to our campus. Thank you for generously giving your time, food, and talents to bless our Falcon family! ❤️

🏐 We’re excited about a new volleyball season at FCA! With a record 22 players, our team is growing—and thanks to Robin and Darrell Brown of REAL Sports in Lillington, every player now has a new pair of knee pads. Thank you also to the Knowles family for donating a volleyball cart and practice balls! Your generosity is helping our girls learn, grow, and play as a team.

👕 Thank you to Contour Brands, Virgil Holmes, and Johnny Pardue for providing six pallets of brand-new clothing for our children. What an incredible blessing!

🎂 And finally, help us wish Evelyn Harris a very happy 97th birthday! Evelyn is our oldest living Falcon Children’s Home alum, and we are so grateful for the joy and memories she continues to share with us.

People Who Make a Difference ❤️

This week’s Wednesday post is a beautiful reminder that giving back isn’t always about writing a check—it can be about giving your time, talents, and willingness to serve.

Mike Martin saw a need at Falcon Children’s Home and stepped up to help build shelves and cabinets for our warehouse, helping us better organize the clothing, toys, furniture, and other items that are distributed to the children and families we serve. We are so grateful for his hard work and servant’s heart!

We’re also celebrating a special moment with one of our Royal Home Ministries moms, who dedicated her baby to the Lord at Iglesia Northwood in Fayetteville. Thank you to Pastor Eduardo and the entire church family for making this such a meaningful experience for this mother and her baby. 💙

And a special thank you to Rick and Bev Haug and the wonderful group of ladies from their church in Siler City who recently treated our girls to a fun-filled day at White Lake Water Park! We are so thankful for the time they spent loving on our girls and creating special memories with them. ☀️💦

From building shelves in a hot warehouse to spending a day at the water park, these acts of service remind us that there are so many ways to make a difference.

There’s something special about coming home. 💙🏠

This week Mr. Leggett visits with two very special friends and Falcon alumni, Thomas and Bee Norris. Their story is a beautiful reminder that the relationships formed at Falcon can last a lifetime.

Thomas came to Falcon as a young child, and years later, after taking different paths in life, he and Bee found their way back to each other—and eventually back to Falcon, where they served as houseparents and worked with our traveling choir.

They share memories of growing up at Falcon, the joys and challenges of caring for children, their love for the Falcon family, and why there’s nowhere quite like this community.

We’re also celebrating the return of our teachers and staff as we prepare for the start of a new school year! Please join us in praying for our students, teachers, and staff as we begin another year at Falcon Christian Academy. 📚🎓

💜 A heartfelt thank you to the youth and members of Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church for making the trip to Falcon to bless Magnolia Hope with thoughtful donations for the girls in our care.

What may seem like simple items—like beads for jewelry making—become powerful tools for healing. As our Director of Magnolia Hope, Michael Arena shared, these activities create opportunities for meaningful conversations, helping survivors process their experiences and discover hope for the future.

During their visit, Michael also had the privilege of speaking with the youth group about the realities of human trafficking, online safety, and practical ways to recognize warning signs. Education and awareness are essential in protecting our children and communities.

If your church, youth group, or organization would like to learn more about human trafficking prevention and online safety, we'd be honored to come and share with you.

🎶 A Week of Fellowship & Blessings for Our Falcon Family! 🎶

Our Falcon students had an incredible opportunity last week to attend Youth Quest in Franklin Springs, Georgia, where our youth choir, dancers, and singers shared their talents and experienced powerful moments of worship and encouragement.

Under the leadership of our campus life team and choir director, our students received outstanding recognition — including a Superior rating, the highest honor awarded in their choir category! Judges praised their preparation, presentation, pitch, and overall performance. We couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and dedication they put into representing Falcon Children’s Home.

We are incredibly thankful for the generosity and hospitality shown by The Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church in Cochran, Georgia. Their church welcomed our students with open arms, provided a beautiful time of worship and fellowship, and blessed FCH with a vehicle donation that will help support our ministry.

Thank you to Pastor Doug Studdard and the entire Empire Church family for loving on our students and investing in the mission of Falcon Children’s Home. Your kindness made this experience one our students will never forget!

We are grateful for every church, partner, and supporter who continues to encourage our children and help them discover their God-given gifts. ❤️
