Help us support families facing the unimaginable.
Help us make hospital stays more bearable.
Let’s help patient care teams in the PCICU provide music therapy, story time, and pet therapy. Let’s help these team have the resources to support families while they are living in the hospital and during their transition to living back at home.

Single ventricle kids need so much support- physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, and so much more. It’s hard. It’s overwhelming. It must be done.

Please join us! Please help us make a difference. Let’s grow a fund that supports these families during their toughest times. Let’s give single ventricle kids the best shot at living life.

These kids need resources. Every dollar helps.

After the Norwood procedure, Graylee Jo spent over 30 days in the PCICU at Duke. For over a month, the PCICU was her home. Not only was it her home, but it was also the place Jonathan and I called home. We ate there. We showered there. We slept there. We prayed there. We made our first family picture there. Outside of my belly, the PCICU was the first place Graylee Jo ever knew as her home.

No child should be forced to live a life inside the four walls of a hospital room but sadly, some kids have no other choice. Why not make it better? Why not join Graylee Jo’s Grace and support patient care programs at Duke?

Help us make the PCICU a more tolerable place for children and their families to be. Help us drown out the constant alarm bells and whistles, the big decisions, and all the fear with a little bit of normalcy.

This is how we make a difference. This is how we honor Graylee Jo. This is how we stay .

Every dollar helps. Click the link below to donate. Help us reach our $10,000 goal!

Tonight, Graylee Jo’s Grace was able to do something really special. Peyton is a 4 year old ray of sunshine that has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Epilepsy. As you all know, HLHS was the thief that took our precious Graylee Jo. On Thursday morning, Peyton will undergo his 3rd open heart surgery, the Fontan, at Duke. Peyton is newly local to our community, so I was able to connect with his Mom, Stephanie, after reading an article about his story in the newspaper.

Graylee Jo’s Grace was able to provide Peyton and his family with a hospital survival bag full of things needed for his upcoming hospital stay. Some of those things included: button-front pajamas, slippers, gripper socks, coloring books, toys to use after surgery, pillow covers, blankets, gas cards for the family to travel back and forth to the hospital, multiple food gift-cards, a stocked toiletry bag, a doctor’s play-set, and a devotional book.

When you donate to Graylee Jo’s Grace, you help people like Peyton’s family. You support families when they are facing the unimaginable. You help lift some of the burden off their shoulders. You help worried parents be able to focus on the most important thing, caring for their child.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much to each and every person who shares our posts, donates, and supports Graylee Jo’s Grace. We could not do this without all of you! You ARE making a difference!

Please join the entire Graylee Jo’s Grace team in praying for Peyton on Thursday morning. Please pray for his parents, his younger brother, the doctors and nurses caring for him, and his surgical team. Please specifically pray for his main surgeon, Dr. Clark.

We have officially partnered with Duke!

From now until July 26, in honor of what would have been my sweet Graylee Jo’s 3rd birthday, we are working to raise $10,000 for patient services in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU at Duke.

Graylee Jo was born with HLHS and spent a month of her life inpatient. Because of that, this mission is incredibly close to my heart. We know firsthand how vital these services are…not just for the children fighting so hard, but for the families living through it with them.

The PCICU patient services team is truly something special. Music therapy brings light into some of the darkest days. Child Life specialists helps patients feel like a child in a place that can feel so overwhelming and clinical. These programs create moments of comfort, connection, and even joy in the middle of incredibly hard seasons. And the truth is, they are often underfunded.

This fundraiser is one way we can honor Graylee Jo - by giving back to the very things that helped carry us through. By supporting these services, we’re helping ensure other families feel a little less alone during long hospital stays.

If you feel led to donate, share, or support in any way, it would mean so much to our family. Thank you for helping us honor our girl in such a meaningful way.

Ever wonder what’s inside a Graylee Jo’s Grace care bag? Now’s your chance to find out!

We’ve officially distributed all of our care bags to single ventricle families at Duke—and now we need YOUR help to restock!

As you’re buying things to fill your Easter baskets this week, consider purchasing an item for a GJG care bag. Every item purchased goes directly into a care package that will be given to a heart family in need. These heart families spend countless hours away from the comforts of their homes. Toiletries, blankets, and baby supplies go a long way in easing their burdens.

Join us in spreading a little extra love and grace this Easter season.
