🏫 This past school year, we were honored to collaborate with the South Park Prevention Coalition Grant 🙏 to bring educational workshops and hands-on programming to the FFA classrooms at Park County Middle School and High School. 💕
🐎 Throughout the year, students explored a variety of equine topics including anatomy—from muscles to bones and more—learning vital signs, hoof health, and recognizing common health concerns in horses. 🌡️ 🤒 🫏
🚌 We wrapped up the program with a visit to the rescue, where students learned what our rescue is all about and met many of our incredible animals, including Ishmael, our Belgian Draft, ponies, burros, donkeys, horses, goats, chickens, and of course our barn cat! 🐈 🐐 🐔
Students also had the opportunity to work hands-on with the horses, learning how to halter, lead, groom, and navigate basic obstacles in the arena. Watching them build confidence, compassion, and practical skills with the animals was truly rewarding. 💜
