Do you know this big boy. He showed up at a ladies house a couple weeks ago. He was very skinny. If we can't find a owner please let us know if you would like to adopt him. . His vetting will be covered. He just needs a loving forever home.

We are looking for a foster home for these 2 black German Shepherds they are 11 months old . They have had all their shots but still needs spayed and neutered. We will take care of that. They are at a house that does not allow pets. The son dropped them off and left them. It is a male and female. We are told the are good with people, other dogs but don't k know about cats. Happy Dance 💃 🕺 these babies are home safe and sound. !!!!
These kids were running around at the Summer Hills condos. We have them here at the shelter . We hope these babies have a family . Please stop in at city hall and please take your rabies certificate with you. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Update !!!! The swelling is down in the puppy's head. It is almost back to normal now. Yea!!!

Update on Mom and babies rescued along highway 16 in the Fairfield Bay area. The first puppy has a swollen head. We thought it was bitten by a spider. It was rushed to the vet. They thought possibly a snake bite. We heard mom growl when one of the puppies got close to her food. Our thoughts are mom bit it in the head. It is in a foster home being taken care of. Everyone is really growing at a fast puppy growth. Their eyes are open and they are beginning to play. They are about 3 weeks old. In a few days we will start them on mush. They have plenty of teeth. When they are eating good we plan on moving mom to another location at the shelter away from her puppies.

Update on Loki. Loki came through his surgery just fine. I picked him up yesterday. His tail just wagging away. He is doing great. Loki is such a good boy and has an incredible personality. He is at the shelter. He is not licking or chewing on his stitches. Stop by and say hi.

Good evening everyone !!!! Dr. Long got the plates and rod in today . Loki gets his leg fixed tomorrow. I will have him there about 9 am. So far we have $300.00 in donations . We are still in need of donations . We desperately need a foster home for him. He should be able to return to the shelter in 6 weeks or less. He can not be outside .

Another update. Remember mom and her babies rescued on highway 16 here in Fairfield Bay. She is doing great her babies are growing like weeds. I will try and get new pictures tomorrow or Wednesday.

Up date on Loki . Dr. Long took ex-rays . He can save his leg. He said he would order the plates and pen today. He should have his surgery in about 3 days. They did not have to sedate him. He also said he is young and should heal quickly. He was such a good boy at the vet.
