Patrick got a lot of community engagement in his week!

He went to his local Panera Bread to purchase his lunch and chose outside seating to enjoy his lunch before stopping by his local postal office.

On a separate occasion, Patrick and DSP, Patience O. enjoyed the sunshine and a short walk in the neighborhood after their trip to the container store.

CLA Team went on to experience one of the perks of being this close to the nation's capital! Did you know that you can book a lunch cruise along the Potomac River and you can enjoy an afternoon seeing the views of DC, enjoying chef prepared buffet, and participating in games and dancing (live dj entertainment).

At CLA, we like to encourage activities that one may seem is mundane because it is the type of activities that can be easily overlooked especially if it is a usual thing to do or maybe the activity in itself is labeled as a chore. But here's Patrick having a proud moment purchasing gas, using the atm machine, and even purchasing snacks and paying all by himself! At home, he did his dishes after lunch. These type of activities always foster confidence and a sense of purpose which we are all about!

JB headed out to Pinecrest Golf Course in Alexandria, VA to pursue his interest in golfing! This golfing session was mainly observation and watching and it was a perfect opportunity to get some fresh air, some sun, and most of all learn more about golf!
