Ready to take charge of your diabetes? Join us for six weekly classes and a two month reunion to learn how nutrition and physical activity can support Type 2 Diabetes management. In a supportive group setting, participants will build practical skills for lasting lifestyle change through interactive presentations, strength building exercises, and cooking demonstrations. Join us and take control of your health!

This free program is open to adults with a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes and/or an A1C above 7.

The Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts annually offers four scholarships to graduating high school seniors or college freshmen for college study. This year, four $2,000 scholarships are available! Applications must be submitted to the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District, which will select one student for consideration by the state committee. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY APRIL 1ST, 2026!

In addition, Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District offers a $1,000 Future Conservation Leaders Scholarship to eligible applicants from Fairfax County.
