IT’S NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🥳

Which means your dog officially has an excuse to be EXTRA spoiled today. And really… who are we to argue with a national holiday?!

Grab your pup, hop in the car, and go on a little pup cup tour! 🐕 🚙 Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin’, Bruster’s, Dutch Bros… there are plenty of places ready to help you celebrate!

Whether it’s a pup cup, a doggie sundae, or even a cute bandana, today is THEIR day. 🙌🏼

Every time I check and see that Jack and Akay are still waiting, it breaks my heart.

Jack is six. Akay is four. They are best friends, expert escape artists, and completely devoted to each other.

They must be adopted together.

Your dog called… and apparently they’ve decided today is the PERFECT day for you to spoil them. 🦴

And really, who are we to argue with the dog?! 👀 Especially when stocking up on treats for your furry best friend also helps support the huskies at H3!

Polka Dot is nearly nine years old.

She has never had a home.

She has never had a family of her own, a favorite spot on the couch, or someone who wakes up every morning and chooses her.

Most of Polka Dot’s life was spent in the Wagner puppy mill. Jenni rescued her once, only for a court order to send her back. The second time, she was finally able to bring her halfway home for good.

Now she is safe. She is loved. And we will protect her for the rest of her life.

But we want more for her than that.

We want Polka Dot to spend whatever time she has left knowing the love of a real home. We want her to know what it feels like to belong completely to someone, as a cherished member of a family.

Polka Dot is shy until you earn her trust, but underneath that tough shell is a sassy red piebald queen who soaks up affection and has no problem telling younger huskies to mind their manners.

She is also a talented escape artist who will climb a fence if left outside alone, so she needs someone who will supervise her closely. She could make a wonderful apartment husky or thrive with loving helicopter parents. Because of her high prey drive, she needs a home without cats or small animals.

Polka Dot has spent almost nine years waiting for her life to truly begin.

Please don’t let her spend her golden years still waiting.

I have something else amazing to tell you.

Yesterday I met with a local guy who will be setting me up with a plan to have the two shipping containers that I own, moved over to the highway frontage side of the property and turned into the huskies thrift shop.

These containers will get moved this week, and Tyler will be here to pour the concrete pad for the patio that will lead into the Huskies thrift shop. This patio will also serve as the coffee shops gathering space. So people that are here for the thrift shop for Husky halfway house will be able to utilize a coffee shop connected also there to save dogs.

A highway frontage retail space next to a coffee shop guys.. this is how we’re going to be able to utilize all of that merch that Jackie left us.
If you didn’t know, a couple of years ago a local store closed down and donated everything to the huskies. I’ve been trying to find a way to get a store running so we could sell it all. And I finally have a solid plan that’s going to work.

I’m not asking for donations to help me build this right now, what I need is donations to H3 so that way I can focus on building this and not need to spend time paying the bills over there.

This is huge guys. I’ll repeat, a highway frontage retail shop a half a mile from the busiest area in town right across from the counties fairgrounds.
The Huskies will have free rent, free utilities, and a highway frontage space to sell all their stuff, with free labor because it will be ran by volunteers.
THIS WILL WORK. This will push us into sustainable. It has to.

I really need to focus on this right now, this is a game changer.

I’m asking you for donations so that way I don’t have to worry about my Team’s paychecks or any of Vet bills. Everything over there gets paid and I can focus on this.

Help me out guys. I just need a few thousand of you to send the huskies a couple bucks. Pretty please 🙏.

Look what I made tonight! 😍 who wants one?

Tyler, the concrete guy was here today as well as the guy who is handling the shipping container move for me. These containers will be setup on the highway frontage side for H3 thrift shop.

I need 14k to get this current job done so time to sell some husky hugs. 🤩

Who wants a husky hug?! I already have about half of what I need for the project, I need to raise another 7k.

That’s like 700 husky hugs. 🥰
