Glacier has been here for a really long time, and he needs to find his way into a home. He’s chunky, sweet, and loves people as much as he loves food. He needs a home with a comfy couch and a big heart to love him.

If you’d like to help support Glacier while he lives here at Husky Halfway House, here are a few ways you can be part of his story:

• Virtually adopt Glacier for a day or a month. It’s a simple way to support a specific husky you connect with while they live their best pack life.

• Join the Breakfast Club with monthly support of $4.99 or more. What started as help with food has grown into one of the ways we work toward sustainability. Monthly support helps care for Glacier and the 160 huskies currently onsite and allows us to keep rescuing others just like them.

NEED HELP with a 2k match for transport!!

PURE CHAOS, that’s what today is. 12 huskies leaving today. I’ll repeat. 12 huskies leaving for their new homes. Also two dogs being rescued.
Pure chaos.

A very good supporter of ours gave us an offer to match 2000 for this trip!

Guys, 2 drivers, 2 vans. 2 tanks that need gas from one end of the country to the other.

I desperately need donations today to get these huskies home. And I have two thousand of it to match.

Glacier is our highlighted coffee of the week this week and anyone that buys his coffee will also get a chance to win any free box of coffee in our store.

Hey y’all, Shyla here. I just got to H3 this week, and it already feels pretty amazing. 🤩
Not too long ago, I was out on the streets in Texas trying to figure things out on my own. Now I’m surrounded by other Huskies who’ve been through hard things too… and people who truly care about us. That’s a really special feeling.

My new friends told me that everyone here works really hard to give us a second chance at life. They help us heal, learn to trust again, and find homes where all we’ll know from now on is love. ❤️ That sounds pretty wonderful to me.

They also gently reminded me that it takes a lot of supplies to make that happen… so I wanted to ask, if you’re able, could you help us out? 🥰

Wednesday morning check in everyone, how are we doing?

Ever have one of those days where there are lots of good things going on around you but somehow it still just doesn’t feel like enough?

Rescue is hard. Some days it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel at all. Some of you may have noticed it’s been a little quieter around here lately and we are sorry about that. Things have just been a little heavy behind the scenes lately and we’ve been trying to regroup a bit, but we haven’t forgotten you guys.

I finished making all of the tickets for the Ninja coffee maker raffle and I am currently working on The Breakfast Club numbers. We will draw soon, promise. Thank you for being patient with us while we play catch up.

As for right now, we started a new raffle yesterday for a Ninja Juicer.

And honestly? We just couldn’t bring ourselves to push it yesterday. We didn’t have the energy to pretend to be excited and make a bunch of upbeat sales posts about a juicer when emotionally we are just tired. Really tired.

But rescue doesn’t stop because we need a minute unfortunately.

The huskies still need to eat.
The vet bills still come in.
The transports still happen.
Life keeps moving whether we are emotionally caught up to it or not.

So here I am leaning into the sad skid a little bit because we can’t really afford to sit idle long.

If you have questions or concerns please ask. And if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately too, you’re not alone in that either.
