Eufaula Area Arts began during the early 1990s when local artists began offering summer art classes available to the public. Much has changed since the 90's but the tradition of providing arts to the community at large has been continuous. The mission statement for Eufaula Area Arts is to weave the arts into the community for growth and enjoyment.

Our Story

Eufaula Main Street Studio is headquarters for Eufaula Area Arts Council a 501(c)3 organization, an official designation given by the IRS as being tax-exempt by virtue of our charitable programs. During the last 9 years, Eufaula Area Arts has maintained a presence in the heart of Eufaula at 105 South Main. The mission statement for Eufaula Arts is to weave the arts into the community for growth and enjoyment. We promote artists by selling their art work, hiring their talents and having classes or workshops. We give back 80% of all sales to the artist and pay sales tax. Many items are donated to give away to artists and students here. Director meetings, planning and fundraisers are held here. Main Street Studio is a working studio and art gallery strengthening artist exposure, community development, tourism and education for this area of which would not be possible without local support.

Projects during 2019 are dance classes, dog paintings for Barktober Festival Oct 26, painting classes every two weeks at Main Street Studio and monthly at Eufaula Manor Nursing Home, local art festival, holiday sales of art, exhibit of art at Eufaula Memorial Library and regular board of director meetings.
