🚨 KOA Owners: A Quick Cybersecurity Reminder 🚨

We've recently heard from several members who have received emails that appear to come from fellow campground owners, OA leaders, or board members—but aren't actually from them.

This practice is called email spoofing, and unfortunately it's becoming more common. Scammers use a familiar name to gain trust, then ask for money, gift cards, wire transfers, or other urgent favors.

Before you respond to any unexpected request, take a moment to verify the sender's actual email address—not just the display name. A quick phone call or separate email can save a lot of headaches.

We’re looking into fun & efficient ways to get housekeeping supplies from accommodation to accommodation… and we KNOW campgrounds have some legendary setups.

💛 HEY KOA FAM – WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR VIRGINIA COVERAGE! 💛

We’ve had a few conversations and leads (thank you all!), but we’re still searching for the right campsitter team to help cover a small campground in Virginia:

📅 June 19–21, 2026

This is a short-term “hold down the fort” opportunity where you’d essentially be running the campground for a few days. Thankfully, it’s a very manageable 50-site park.

Responsibilities include:
✔️ Open-to-close campstore/registration coverage
✔️ Opening & closing the pool
✔️ Bathroom cleaning once daily
✔️ Quiet hour rounds

Good news:
🏕️ No cabin cleaning required
🏡 Apartment available above the A-frame
🚐 RV stay also possible if you’re traveling with your rig

We’re really hoping to find a dependable individual or couple who’s comfortable handling campground operations for a few days while the owners are away.

We’re looking for a strong manager-level Campsitter to step in ASAP through the end of May for a campground in Idaho.

This is an immediate need and would be a great fit for someone experienced in campground operations who’s ready to jump in and help keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:
✔️ Overseeing employees
✔️ Running the front desk
✔️ Supporting daily campground operations

🏡 Apartment available onsite
📍 Onsite stay required
