Another step forward for Project Beckett!

FOP Lodge 020 Sergeant of Arms Anthony Halverson delivered two LifeVac de-choking devices to Iroquois School, helping ensure that staff and students have access to an additional emergency response tool when every second counts.

These devices will be placed:
📍 1 in the lunchroom
📍 1 in the concession stand

We are incredibly grateful to the administration and staff at Iroquois School for supporting our mission and partnering with us to help create a safer environment for everyone who walks through their doors.

Every delivery is another reminder of what can be accomplished when communities come together with a shared goal of protecting lives.

One of the best parts of Project Beckett is seeing family come together to help make a difference.

Today, Beckett Shantz and his brother Hudson, along with their cousins, helped deliver a LifeVac de-choking device to Park Drive In in Lake Norden, SD. Seeing kids take part in helping make their communities safer is what this project is all about.

A huge thank you to Park Drive In for supporting Project Beckett and helping us continue our mission of getting LifeVac devices into places where they may one day make a difference.

Every device placed, every conversation shared, and every supporter behind this mission helps us continue growing. We appreciate all of you. 💙

We’re also excited to share that thanks to the support of the Hamlin County FOP, an awesome community event is coming to Lake Norden Park Drive In on June 27th from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM — Cops & Bobbers!

Bring the family out for a fun afternoon featuring:
🎣 Fishing
🚔 Photos and tours of patrol cars
🚤 Boating with GF&P officers
💦 Dunk a Cop dunk tank
🍔 Food & ice cream
☕ Coffee
…and a great chance to spend time with local law enforcement and community members.

Project Beckett will also have a table at the event where we’ll be accepting donations to help continue placing LifeVac devices where they’re needed most.

We’ll also be giving away 5 LifeVac devices! Winners can choose to have the device go to their family, or they can nominate a business, facility, organization, or community location of their choice.

Come stop by, say hi, and enjoy an afternoon with us. This event is going to be an absolute blast, and we can’t wait to see everyone there. 💙

Project Beckett continues to grow because of incredible community support, and we are thankful for those helping us spread awareness and support this mission.

We want to give a special thank you to the employees of Foley & Foley Law Office in Watertown for their support of Project Beckett and for helping share awareness about our mission throughout the community. Every conversation, connection, and show of support helps us continue working to place LifeVac devices where they are needed most.

Support also comes in the form of donations, which help make these placements possible and allow Project Beckett to continue expanding our reach and impact.

We’re excited to share that Ships Inn Bar & Grill in Castlewood, SD now has a Project Beckett LifeVac device on-site. Having these devices available in public spaces can make all the difference in an emergency, and we’re thankful to community partners willing to stand behind this mission.

Another Project Beckett delivery is in the books! We’re excited to continue getting LifeVac de-choking devices into locations throughout our communities to help create safer spaces for everyone.

Webster A&W Restaurant now has a Project Beckett LifeVac De-Choking device available on-site. In addition, donation information is available for those who would like to support our mission and help us continue placing these important devices where they are needed most.

We are grateful for the support from businesses and community members who are helping make a difference and joining us in our mission to improve safety in our communities. 💙

Another delivery complete — and we’re keeping the momentum going! Project Beckett is continuing to work hard to place LifeVac de-choking devices in locations throughout our communities, with many more deliveries still to come.

These devices will be placed:

We wrapped up our last delivery of the day — but we’re just getting started! More deliveries are coming soon, so stay tuned as Project Beckett continues working to get LifeVac de-choking devices into places that need them most.

Today, FOP Lodge 020 members Sheriff Chad Schlotterbeck, Nolan Koistinen, and Taylor Shantz delivered 3 LifeVac de-choking devices to the Hamlin Education Center.

These devices will be placed:
📍 1 in the new Culinary Program kitchen
📍 1 in the lunchroom
📍 1 to be shared between concession stands during events

Project Beckett is proud to announce another LifeVac placement, this time at Castlewood School District!

FOP Lodge 20 President Tristan Molitor, member Nolan Koistinen, and Taylor Shantz delivered LifeVac De-Choking devices to Castlewood School to help strengthen safety and emergency preparedness within the school.

One device will be placed in the cafeteria, while another will be available for use in the concession stands to help ensure added protection during school activities and events.

We would also like to thank Castlewood School for allowing these devices to be placed and for supporting this important mission. Partnerships like these help us continue working toward getting LifeVac devices into places where they may one day save a life.
