The lesson we will be exploring Thursday at 6:30 pm New Life Church - Escanaba, MI
Grace "Undeserved Favor: Grace is getting a good gift or blessing that you did not work for or earn."
Difference from Mercy: "Mercy is not getting the punishment you do deserve, while grace is getting the blessing and help you do not deserve."
Both are incredible gifts we receive from the one who loves us so much. You think you're undeserving? Not...When we turn our lives over, these blessings truly begin.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT A CELEBRATE RECOVERY MEETING?

Maybe you’ve thought about coming… but you’re nervous because you don’t know what to expect.

Here’s what you’ll find:

❤️ People who understand.
You don’t have to have it all together to walk through the doors.

🙌 Worship and encouragement.
We gather together, worship, and hear a recovery-centered lesson or someone’s testimony.

🤝 A safe place to connect.
After Large Group, we break into gender-specific Open Share Groups where you can talk… or simply listen. You will never be forced to share.

✝️ Jesus at the center.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry for anyone dealing with hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

And maybe the most important thing to expect…

You don’t have to walk in already changed.
You just have to walk in.

Come as you are. There’s a seat for you.

October is here, and it’s a great reminder that recovery is built one choice, one step, and one day at a time.

At Celebrate Recovery, we can stay OPEN to God’s grace, CHOOSE honesty, TURN from old patterns, OFFER encouragement, BELIEVE healing is possible through Jesus, EMBRACE community, and REMEMBER that we never have to walk this journey alone.

Meetings are held in Delta County
Tuesdays 6 pm at Victory In Jesus Church
Thursdays 6:30 pm at New Life Church - Escanaba, MI

Our lesson at Celebrate Recovery this week is forgiveness...such an important part of our recovery journey.
Jesus forgives us, and in turn teachs us about forgiving others, and yes, forgiving ourselves. This one can be especially difficult but freedom is on the other side.
We meet Thursdays at 6:30 pm at New Life Church - Escanaba, MI

Every recovery journey has a beginning.

For many of us, this blue chip represents something much bigger than what we can hold in our hands. It represents a decision to take that first step to admit that we need help, to stop trying to do life alone, and to begin trusting Jesus Christ with our recovery.

Maybe today is your day one.

Thursday is Victory Chip Night at 6:30 pm New Life Church - Escanaba, MI

We hand out chips from day one to 50 years! Dinner at 6. Bring a dish to share if you want, but bring your hands ready to come grab a victory chip or to clap for those who are!
