❤️🖤 Red Hawk families, let’s SWAP & SOAR! 🖤❤️

Have some Red Hawk spirit wear at home that your kiddos have outgrown or no longer wear? Bring it along to our Red Hawk Spirit Wear Swap at the Back-2-School Bash!

📅 September 11 | 5–8 PM

Bring your clean, gently used Red Hawk spirit wear and swap it for something new-to-you! Shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, and other Red Hawk gear are all welcome.

Maybe that favorite sweatshirt has gotten a little too small, or you have spirit wear sitting in a drawer that another Red Hawk would love. This is a fun way to pass it along, find something new, save a little money, and share some Red Hawk spirit with another family.

No need to have something to swap to stop by and take a look. We want this to be something our whole Red Hawk community can enjoy.

**A little something for our amazing Red Hawk teachers & staff!**

Our teachers and staff pour so much time, energy, and heart into our students each and every day, and we want them to know just how much they are appreciated!

This week, the PTO was happy to deliver Amazon gift cards to our teachers and staff to help with classroom needs and give them a little extra support as the school year gets underway.

It’s a small way for us to say thank you for everything they do to make Red Hawk such a special place for our children.❤️

And to our Red Hawk families, thank YOU! Your support of the PTO throughout the year helps make things like this possible. We truly appreciate being part of such a wonderful school community.

August Staff Spotlight!!

We’re excited to kick off our Staff Spotlight series with Mrs. Riann Sahnow, one of our amazing 3rd grade teachers at Red Hawk!

We have such a wonderful group of teachers and staff at our school, and we thought this would be a fun way for our Red Hawk families to get to know a little more about the people who spend their days teaching, supporting, and caring for our kids.

Calling all Red Hawk families!

We’d love to see those 1st-Day-of-School pictures! Whether it was a big smile, a front porch photo, walking into school, or one of those sweet first-day moments you want to remember, please send them our way for yearbook consideration!

We know how busy the school year can get, and as your PTO, we want to be a helpful resource for our Red Hawk families. Along with everything the PTO has planned throughout the year, we'll also be sharing important school dates and reminders to help everyone stay in the loop!

Kona Ice is coming TODAY!

School is officially back in session, and what better way to celebrate the first week than with Kona Ice!

Stop by Monkey Bar Park today from 3:30–4:30 after school. Bring the family, grab your favorite flavor, and spend a little time catching up with other Red Hawk families.

The park is right across the street from Red Hawk, so hopefully you can swing by on your way home!

Join us for the first Red Hawk PTO DEI Group meeting of the school year!

Wednesday, August 26th
6:00–7:00 PM
Red Hawk Elementary Library

At Red Hawk, every child brings something unique to our school community. Our group is focused on helping create a welcoming and supportive environment where all students and families are valued and supported.

The group celebrates and supports the many things that make our students who they are, from different cultures and family backgrounds to abilities, neurodiversity, traditions, experiences, and so much more.

Whether you're interested in sharing ideas, learning more, helping with an activity, or simply curious about what the group does, you are welcome at the table.

Come meet us, learn more about what we have planned for the year, and help us continue building a school community where every Red Hawk feels like they belong.
