A moment of celebration after winning the raffle 🤣

Today we talked about how people can let us down or betray our trust, but Jesus isn’t one of those people - when you read the stories of Him, He always followed through on His word 🙌

Casey shared today about how Jesus accepts us just like we are - and that’s solidified by the fact that we can’t find a single story in the Bible about Jesus not accepting someone.

It’s easy for any teenager to feel like an outcast at times, exponentially more so for kids living in a group home. We hope they know they have a place at Young Life, and ultimately a place in friendship with Jesus, where they will always be accepted. 🤍

After the club, we were invited to help teach gym class… swipe to meet Coach Dave! 🤣 A perfect example of how Young Life leaders will go to creative lengths to show up in their friends lives.

And prevention starts long before aging out.

That’s why Young Life One invests in middle and high school residents years before they discharge - through club, camp, and consistent mentorship. By the time a resident turns 18, they’re not meeting a mentor for the first time – they’re walking into adulthood with people who already know them and the tools to help them succeed.
