We had a great speaker today sharing how the Idaho Veterans Chamber of Commerce works with Veterans all over Idaho.

Mindi Anderson, Retired SMSgt, USAF, told us all about how this amazing group helps Veterans connect with workforce opportunities through consulting, networking, career placement, certification, apprenticeships, and education.

Events & Workshops are offered to educate and connect our Idaho and Military communities to resources, subject matter experts, companies, agencies, and people.

Staying current with Rotary policies matters, especially for club leaders.

When Sun Lakes Rotary Club President Ed Anderson wanted confidence that he was on the right track, he turned to the Learning Center and saw real impact in his club.

Today’s Guest Speaker is new to the City as Fire Marshal. Greg Layton.

Firefighter since 1983, Captain, interim Fire Marshal, retired for a year or so then went back to do fire prevention work for eight years. Re-retired and built their retirement home in Emmett.

He loves working here! The business owners, the people, everyone is nice to be with, and it’s refreshing!

Greg works with school kids doing public education and is excited to start some themed programs in our schools.

Inspections are being carried out in and around the City of Emmett. He’ll check your extinguishers, egress, electrical issues, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and more. By code, EVERY business should have an annual fire inspection.

Supporting the youth of our community is one of the greatest honors of being part of Rotary.

Thank You Rotary ❤️
We are so incredibly grateful to have such a supportive community organization like the Emmett Rotary Club. They make true and real positive impacts in Emmett and financially give back to all sorts of youth programs in our school district.

Rotary, thank you for your generosity, our EHS cheer and dance programs are able to strive because of your support.

Rotary Club of Emmett needs your help!

Join us as we place flags at the cemetery to honor the men and women who served our country. This simple act of remembrance helps ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.

We would love for community members, families, and volunteers of all ages to come help us show our respect and gratitude. ❤️🤍💙

Together, we can make sure every veteran is honored this Memorial Day
