For Greg Durm, MD, basketball has always been part of what makes Indiana special.

Growing up in a small Indiana town, he experienced firsthand how basketball brings communities together. Today, as a thoracic oncologist and researcher at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center and associate professor at Indiana University School of Medicine, he’s inviting Hoosiers to come together again—this time to help advance cancer research.

The inaugural Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament benefiting the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is coming to the Pacers Athletic Center in Westfield on Oct. 3-4.

Whether you’re a former player, a weekend competitor or just want to support a cause, there’s a place for you on the court.

Our 3rd and final grant of the cycle was awarded to Mrs. Megan Luyet, Family and Consumer Science teacher at EJSHS! Here's a quick video of Mrs. Luyet explaining how beneficial the funds are for her students for the upcoming school year!

Our 2nd grant of the cycle went to Mr. Mike Retherford at EJSHS. We're thrilled to expand music offerings in this capacity for the students, and hope to get invited to hear some awesome music in the near future!
