At the Elmira Family Resource Center, we believe that play is one of the most important ways young children learn and grow. These sensory activities may look like simple fun, but they are actually helping build critical skills that support development from birth.

From sensory bins and kinetic sand to shaving cream exploration, fishing activities, construction play, scooping, pouring, digging, sorting, and creating, children are using all of their senses to explore the world around them.

🎵 Music & Movement Monday 🎵

Join us every Monday at 10:00 AM at the Elmira Family Resource Center for a fun-filled morning of music, movement, and learning!

Children and caregivers will enjoy:
🎶 Singing songs
🥁 Exploring musical instruments
📚 Listening to a story
🍎 Sharing a snack
💃 Moving, dancing, and having fun together

Music and movement help children build language, social, motor, and listening skills while having a great time with friends!

This program is designed for children birth to 6 years old and their caregivers.

Join us every Tuesday for Trail Time with Bella! We’ll meet at 11:00 AM at the front entrance of the Elmira Resource Center and head out together to enjoy the beautiful trails at Eldridge Park.

Fresh air, movement, nature, and time to connect with other families — what better way to spend a spring morning? 🍃

These walks are a great way for little ones to explore, learn, and burn some energy while grown-ups enjoy some conversation and community too!

We can’t wait to hit the trails with everyone! Invite a friend and come walk with us!
