----------------------------------------------------------------
We are a chapter of the International MOMS Club ( https://momsclub.org ), a nonprofit organization specifically designed for mothers everywhere. The MOMS Club of Ellington/Vernon, CT is a wonderful way to meet other caregivers who share common interests and concerns. We support mothers and grandmothers from the towns of Ellington & Vernon who stay at home and who work full or part time. The MOMS Club is unique in that we include children in ALL of our activities. We believe that having our children around us is a natural part of being a caregiver. Parenting shouldn't isolate us from the community! Most of our activities are held during the day, when most caregivers need support. In addition to weekly activities, we offer a monthly Moms Night Out. Each year our members participate in service projects that benefit the children or families of our community. Not only is the MOMS Club an excellent chance to get out and meet other caregivers just like yourself, it is a wonderful way for you and your children to get out into the community and make some great friends! If you are interested in learning how to join, simply email us at [email protected] . Are you interested, but don’t live in one of the towns that we serve (Ellington and Vernon )? You’re still welcome to visit our social to learn more about MOMS Club and we encourage you to go to https://momsclub.org/chapters/find-a-chapter/ to find the chapter closest to you.

September is shaping up to be one of our best months yet! W**e nights, book club, coffee meet-ups, a party, playground time, crafts... there's a little bit of everything.

If you've been thinking about joining, this is a great time to do it. No pressure to make every event, just come to the one that sounds like you and see how it feels. That's how most of us got started.

We built this club to help moms find their people, and it keeps proving itself every month. Hope to see some new faces this September.

🌟Exciting Things Are Happening at MOMS Club of Ellington & Vernon!🌟

We want to introduce you to our wonderful new board for the upcoming term!

President - Becky Kowalczyk
Administrative Vice President - Debra Sudillo
Membership Vice President - Kate Wade
Secretary - Lindsay Hurley
Treasurer - Jen Hicks

These ladies are stepping into leadership roles, and we’re so grateful for the foundation built by our outgoing board— thank you for everything you poured into this club! 💛

Behind the scenes, we’ve already been hard at work planning some fantastic activities to close out summer and carry us through the fall. We can’t share all the details yet (our full calendar is a members-only perk!), but we promise it’s worth the wait.

Here’s what we CAN tell you: keep your eyes peeled for some Open House events coming soon! These are the perfect low-pressure way for potential members to come and see what our club is really about— the friendships, the support, and the fun. Whether your kids are toddlers or teens, there’s a place for you here.

We’re also cooking up some great fundraisers and service projects for the coming months, because giving back to our community is just as important to us as building it up.

Stay tuned— this is going to be a great season! 💫
