Halau 'O Keikiali'i is a traditional Hawaiian Cultural Group based in Elk Grove near Sacramento, CA. Our goal is to educate the public by learning about the Hawaiian people and their traditional customs, values and protocols. Besides having regularly scheduled classes, we strive to perpetuate the rich culture of the Hawaiian people through educational workshops, performances and other cultural eve

nts. Our halau is under the tutelage of Kumu Kawika Alfiche who has been teaching hula for over 15 years. He has been a long-time advocate for the Hawaiian culture and Kumu for Halau 'O Keikiali'i and director for the San Francisco Bay-Area based Kaululehua Hawaiian Cultural Center. With these organizations, Kawika Alfiche has been able to bring to the mainland, the essence of past and present communities of the Hawaiian people, the traditional customs, values and protocols.
