Elizabethville Area Historical Society The Elizabethville Area Historical Society welcomes everyone interested in local history to join us at our next meeting.

The Elizabethville Area Historical Society is a non-profit corporation formed to promote an interest in the history of the Elizabethville area and to preserve Elizabethville's past for future generations. The Society meets the third Monday of most months. The Society’s goals are to educate, advocate and preserve Elizabethville area history and as membership continues to grow there are plans for r

egular monthly activities. The Society’s education program seeks to inspire local youth through historical presentations. If you have a unique historical collection you would like to share with local history students contact the Society. Additionally, guest speakers are always welcome; if you have a topic of historical value contact the Society. The Society advocates saving our history through responsible restoration and preservation of historic landmarks and artifacts was. Come share in our goals and join us in preserving our heritage for future generations!

We will meet at 100 E Main St., on April 20th at 7pm. Teri Fegley, Regent of the Harrisburg Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will present the program about the DAR and the plans to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary.

UPDATE: Due to the expected severe weather, our program on the Lykens Valley Railroad will be postponed to our May 18th meeting. Hope to see you there!

We will meet Monday, March 16th at 7pm at 100 E Main St, Elizabethville. Our program is by Mitch Rebuck who will present the history of the Lykens Valley Railroad.
The public is cordially invited to attend.
